Abstract

Aksara Sunda merupakan salah satu aksara yang harus dilindungi dan dilestarikan. Kurangnya pemahaman aksara Sunda di Sekolah Dasar menjadi dasar dilakukannya penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangan sebuah aplikasi yang dapat mengenalkan aksara Sunda di Sekolah Dasar dan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman aksara Sunda peserta didik. metode penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan metode penelitian Research & Development (R&D) dan dilakukan uji efektivitas media tersebut dalam pembelajaran. Proses pengembangan aplikasi menggunakan aplikasi Smart Apps Creator (SAC) Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah produk berupa aplikasi bernama KAGANGA yang didalamnya memuat materi pokok aksara Sunda disertai dengan quiz. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil rata-rata validasi ahli sebesar 93,75% dengan kriteria “sangat layak” serta dari uji kepraktikan yang dilakukan kepada uji coba perorangan, uji coba kelompok kecil, dan uji coba kelompok besar memperoleh rata-rata persentase penilaian sebesar 89,7% dengan kriteria “sangat layak” maka produk tersebut sudah layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk mengenalkan aksara Sunda di Sekolah Dasar kelas V. Hasil uji efektivitas yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan model pre eksperimen one group pretest posttest design. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan nilai sig yang diperoleh adalah 0,000 < 0,05 maka tolak H0 yang menyatakan tidak ada perbedaan. Sehingga hasil pretest dan posttest tersebut terdapat perbedaan rata-rata artinya terjadi peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman peserta didik setelah mengenal aksara Sunda menggunakan aplikasi KAGANGA. Besar peningkatan pemahaman dihitung menggunakan konsep N-Gain memperoleh hasil 0,638 berada pada kategori sedang. Dengan demikian, penggunaan aplikasi KAGANGA efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran aksara Sunda. The results of the effectiveness test conducted using the one group pretest posttest design preexperiment model. The t-test results show that the sig value obtained is 0.000 <0.05, so reject H0 which states that there is no difference. So that the results of the pretest and posttest are different.
