Abstract

Saat ini pendidikan formal di Indonesia menjadi pintu bagi masuknya ajaran-ajaran radikalisme. Hal ini sesuai dengan data kepolisian yang menyebutkan bahwa sekitar 600 pelajar di Kota Bandung terindikasi radikal. Wacana moderasi beragama dimunculkan oleh Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia guna melawan arus pemahaman agama yang radikal dan liberal. Melalui program nasional dan buku “Moderasi Beragama”, Kemenag berusaha menanamkan pemahaman agama yang proposional pada lembaga keagamaan dan pendidikan. Maka penelitian ini perlu dilakukan agar peran sekolah dan PAI sejalan dengan cita-cita Kemenag. Secara umum penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan pandangan siswa tentang moderasi beragama dalam konteks keyakinan, ibadah, dan hubungan antar siswa di sekolah; 2) mendeskripsikan strategi pembelajaran PAI dalam menanamkan pemahaman moderasi beragama kepada siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif desain field research. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini meliputi reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa sebagian siswa SMAN 13 Bandung memiliki pemahaman moderasi beragama dan upaya pembelajaran PAI dalam menanamkan pemahaman moderasi beragama melalui pembiasaan, contoh, dan penggunaan metode yang variatif. Nowadays, formal education in Indonesia is the gateway to the introduction of the teachings of radicalism. It's in line with police data that says about 600 students in Bandung are indicated as radical. Religious moderation was introduced by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in order to counter the current of radical and liberal religious perceptions. Through the national program and the book “Religious Moderation”, Kemenag seeks to insert a propositional religious understanding into religious and educational institutions. Then this research needs to be done so that the role of the school and PAI is in line with the ideals of Kemenag. Generally speaking, the study aims to: 1) describe the student's view of religious moderation in the context of beliefs, worship, and student-to-school relationships; 2) describe PAI learning strategies in instilling a religious understanding of moderation into students. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods of field research design. Data collection was obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. This research data analysis technique includes data reduction, data display, and verification. The results of this study found that some students of SMAN 13 Bandung have an understanding of religious moderation and PAI learning efforts in instilling a understanding of religion's moderation through practices, examples, and the use of varied methods.
