Abstract
Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap gejala depresi dan kecemasan atlet taekwondo yang pernah mengalami cedera. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional.. Terdapat 32 responden yang diambil dengan mengunakan purpossive sampling dengan karakteristik sample diantaranya berjenis kelamin laki-laki dan perempuan, pernah mengalami cedera baik ringan ataupun berat, mengalami cedera minimal 6 bulan kebelakang, kategori kyorugi dan poomsae, merupakan mahasiswa/i. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner STAI (state trait anxiety inventory), CESD (Center of Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale) dan SSQ6 (social support questionnare short form). Data yang diperoleh diolah dengan menggunakan SPSS dengan teknik uji korelasi non-parametik (Spearman’s rho). Penelitian ini menunjukan hasil yang tidak signifikan antara dukungan sosial (perceive dan satisfaction) dengan gejala depresi memiliki nilai P (0,226) dan P (0,795) yang mana lebih besar dai 0,05. Dan pada aspek gejala kecemasan salah satu ada yang menunjukan hasil yang signifikan dengan dukungan sosial satisfaction dengan nilai P (0,004) < 0,05, sedangkan hasil dukungan sosial perceive tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan P (0,258) > 0,05. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dukungan sosial tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap atlet yang menderita gejala depresi dan kecemapsan pasca cedera. This research aims to determine the effect of social support on symptoms of depression and anxiety in taekwondo athletes who have experienced injuries. The research used quantitative methods with a correlational design. There were 32 respondents taken using purposive sampling with sample characteristics including male and female, had experienced either light or serious injury, had experienced an injury at least 6 months ago, kyorugi and poomsae categories, is a student. The instruments used were the STAI (state trait anxiety inventory), CESD (Center of Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale) and SSQ6 (social support questionnaire short form) questionnaires. The data obtained was processed using SPSS with the non-parametric correlation test technique (Spearman's rho). This research shows insignificant results between social support (perceive and satisfaction) and depressive symptoms with values of P (0.226) and P (0.795) which are greater than 0.05. And in the aspect of anxiety symptoms, one of the results showed significant satisfaction with social support with a value of P (0.004) < 0.05, while the results of perceived social support did not have a significant relationship P (0.258) > 0.05. From the research results, it can be concluded that social support has no effect on athletes who suffer from symptoms of depression and anxiety after injury.
