Abstract
Peningkatan permintaan akan pengiriman dan penyimpanan video berkualitas tinggi telah mendorong pengembangan pengkodean video yang lebih efisien. Salah satu pengkodean yang terbaru saat ini adalah H.265 yang memberikan kompresi lebih baik daripada pendahulunya H.264. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis pengaruh konfigurasi prediksi intra dan inter terhadap kualitas dan efisiensi kompresi video dalam konteks pengkodean H.265. Analisis dilakukan melalui kurva Rate-Distortion (R-D) untuk setiap sequence video. Pengujian dilakukan dengan membandingkan konfigurasi intra, lowdelay-B, lowdelay-P, dan randomaccess pada beberapa sequence video. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa konfigurasi intra menghasilkan rata-rata PSNR sekitar 37 dB dan rata-rata bitrate 2,9 Mbps. Konfigurasi lowdelay-B dan lowdelay-P mencapai rata-rata PSNR 35 dB dengan rata-rata bitrate 608 Kbps untuk lowdelay-B dan lowdelay-P sebesar 620 Kbps. Sedangkan keseimbangan bitrate dan PSNR dapat dicapai dengan konfigurasi randomaccess yang mencapai rata-rata bitrate 555 Kbps dengan PSNR 36 dB, cukup baik dibandingkan dengan lowdelay-B dan lowdelay-P untuk semua sequence. Analisis juga dilakukan terhadap metrik MS-SSIM yang menunjukkan nilai rata-rata stabil diatas 95%. ----- The increasing demand for high quality video delivery and storage has led to the development of more efficient video coding. One of the most recent encodings is H.265 which provides better compression than its predecessor H.264. This study analyzes the effect of intra and inter prediction configurations on video compression quality and efficiency in the context of H.265 coding. The analysis is done through Rate-Distortion (R-D) curves for each video sequence. Tests were conducted by comparing intra, lowdelay-B, lowdelay-P, and randomaccess configurations on several video sequences. The results show that the intra configuration produces an average PSNR of about 37 dB and an average bitrate of 2.9 Mbps. The lowdelay-B and lowdelay-P configurations achieve an average PSNR of 35 dB with an average bitrate of 608 Kbps for lowdelay-B and lowdelay-P of 620 Kbps. While the balance of bitrate and PSNR can be achieved with randomaccess configuration which achieves an average bitrate of 555 Kbps with PSNR of 36 dB, quite good compared to lowdelay-B and lowdelay-P for all sequences. Analysis was also conducted on the MS-SSIM metric which showed a stable average value above 95%.
