Abstract

Transportasi sedimen adalah proses perpindahan sedimen dari suatu tempat ke tempat lain. Melalui metode ini, parameter-parameter seperti kecepatan aliran, pola arus, dan sifat-sifat sedimen dapat dimasukkan ke dalam model matematika yang kemudian dihitung menggunakan algoritma komputer. Sedimen yang terbawa dapat berupa pasir, lumpur, atau bebatuan kecil. Muara Sungai Pangguluran merupakan muara yang terletak di jalur Pantai Bajulmati. Tujuan penelitian Pemodelan menggunakan aplikasi MIKE21 dengan dengan modul hyidrodynamica dan sand transport adalah menganalisis pengaruh angin, gelombang, dan arus terhadap sedimentasi di Muara Sungai Panguluran, serta menganalisis pola sebaran transport sedimen di Muara Panguluran. Arus dan gelombang pada bagian bibir muara, membuat sedimentasi di bagian bibir muara memiiliki diameter yang besar berkisar 0.125 mm – 0.650 mm. Kecepatan angin pada musim timur berkisar 5m/s – 9m/s, hal tesebut membuat pantai memiliki nilai abrasi yang tinggi dan bagian bibir muara juga mengalami penurunan sedimentasi 0-0.15m per hari, dan proses sedimentasi pada bagian muara. Pola sebaran sedimen di muara hingga Pantai Ungapan memiliki nilai yang sama, dan memiliki karakteristik yang hampir sama. Kata Kunci: Pemodelan, Transportasi sedimen, MIKE21 Sediment transportation is the process of moving sediment from one place to another. Through this method, parameters such as flow speed, current patterns, and sediment properties can be entered into a mathematical model which is then calculated using a computer algorithm. The Pangguluran River Estuary is an estuary located on the Bajulmati Beach.. Modeling using the MIKE21 application with modules hyidrodynamica and sand transport is to analyze the influence of wind, waves and currents on sedimentation in the Panguluran River Estuary, as well as analyzing the distribution pattern of sediment transport in the Panguluran Estuary. Currents and waves at the edge of the estuary cause sedimentation at the edge of the estuary to have a large diameter ranging from 0.125 mm – 0.650 mm. Wind speed in the east season ranges from 5m/s – 9m/s, this makes the coast have a high abrasion value and the estuary rim also experiences a decrease in sedimentation of 0-0.15m per day, and the sedimentation process in the estuary. The sediment distribution pattern in the estuary to Ungapan Beach has the same values, and has almost the same characteristics. Keywords: Modeling, Sediment transport, MIKE21
