Abstract
Pelatihan mesin injeksi plastik konvensional memerlukan biaya pengadaan cukup tinggi yang dapat mencapai hingga ±400 juta dengan biaya perawatan mesin ±100 juta. Selain faktor biaya, faktor Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja menjadi pertimbangan dikarenakan mesin injeksi plastik termasuk ke dalam kategori mesin berat yang memiliki tingkat kecelakaan cukup tinggi. Pengembangan pelatihan mesin injeksi plastik berbasis simulator Virtual Reality dapat menjadi solusi atas permasalahan tersebut dengan menawarkan pengalaman pelatihan yang immersive. Terdapat dua fitur utama pada penelitian ini, yaitu simulation mode dan introduction mode. Simulation mode merupakan mode agar pengguna dapat melakukan simulasi pelatihan proses produksi semi-otomatis pada mesin injeksi plastik yang terintegrasi dengan mesin DCS, sedangkan introduction mode merupakan mode agar pengguna dapat mempelajari mengenai teori-teori proses produksi mesin injeksi plastik yang terintegrasi dengan mesin DCS di PT Stechoq Robotika Indonesia. Hasil pengujian oleh validator dengan metode expert review menyatakan bahwasanya aplikasi layak untuk digunakan. ----- Conventional plastic injection machine training requires high procurement costs that can reach up to ±400 million with machine maintenance costs of ±100 million. In addition to the cost factor, the Occupational Health and Safety factor is a consideration because plastic injection machines are included in the category of heavy machinery which has a high accident rate. The development of a Virtual Reality simulator-based plastic injection machine training can be a solution to these problems by offering an immersive training experience. There are two main features in this research, namely simulation mode and introduction mode. Simulation mode is a mode so that users can simulate the training of semi-automatic production processes on plastic injection machines integrated with DCS machines, while introduction mode is a mode so that users can learn about the theories of the production process of plastic injection machines integrated with DCS machines at PT Stechoq Robotika Indonesia. The results of testing by validators using the expert review method state that the application is suitable for use.
