Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan merupakan lembaga pendidikan tingkat menengah yang mempersiapkan lulusannya mampu bekerja dalam bidang tertentu. SMK Negeri 5 Bandung memiliki ruang laboratorium komputer untuk kompetensi keahlian menggambar dengan perangkat lunak. Kondisi ruangan laboratorium komputer dalam hal pencahayaan masih gelap, sedangkan dalam hal penghawaan di laboratorium komputer ini kurang nyaman karena terasa pengap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan gambaran umum mengenai kondisi laboratorium komputer, mengetahui lebih lanjut mengenai proporsi ruang, pencahayaan gabungan, dan sirkulasi udara di laboratorium komputer. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai evaluasi kinerja ruang SMK Negeri 5 Bandung dengan metode performance metric studi kasus laboratorium komputer. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif evaluatif dengan menggunakan metode performance metric, mencakup tiga aspek yang ditinjau yaitu, proporsi ruang meliputi luas ruang, tata letak furniture, dan sirkulasi di ruang laboratorium komputer. Aspek yang kedua yaitu intensitas pencahayaan gabungan, dan aspek yang ketiga yaitu sirkulasi udara. Untuk pengukuran mengenai proporsi ruang dilakukan dengan cara mengukur ruangan menggunakan Meteran Roll, pengukuran intensitas pencahayaan gabungan menggunakan light meter, dan pengukuran sirkulasi udara menggunakan Anemometer. Metode pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, dokumentasi, pengukuran dan wawancara. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi. Data perolehan pengukuran dari metrik-metrik yang telah disusun kemudian dibandingkan dengan standar PERMENDIKNAS No. 40 Tahun 2008 dan SNI yang berlaku. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja ruangan tersebut ditinjau dari proporsi ruang untuk luas ruang, memiliki panjang 15,85 m dan lebar 8,85 m adalah terlalu besar untuk jumlah murid 35 orang. Furniture pada ruang laboratorium komputer masih kurang lengkap dan sebagian kondisinya rusak, beberapa sudah memenuhi standar dan ada yang belum memenuhi standar. Ruang sirkulasi di dalam kelas sebesar 2,08 m, jika dibandingkan dengan standar sirkulasi terlalu besar, karena pada standar lebar sirkulasi untuk dua orang berjalan yaitu 1,6 m. Intensitas pencahayaan gabungan yaitu 341,54 lux, hal tersebut cukup memenuhi standar yang disarankan SNI, namun disalah satu sisi masih gelap. Untuk ventilasi yang terdapat pada ruangan ini adalah 8,4 % dari luas lantai dan sudah memenuhi standar hanya kondisi beberapa jendela rusak, sehingga udara yang masuk hanya 0,03 m/detik, menyebabkan temperatur ruangan panas. Solusi yang disarankan untuk proporsi ruang yaitu penataan kembali furniture, mengganti serta menambahkan beberapa furniture. Sedangkan untuk pencahayaan sebaiknya meminimalisir pencahayaan buatan. Sedangkan pada area yang sangat terang sebaiknya menggunakan vertical blind yang berguna untuk mengurangi cahaya yang masuk agar sesuai standar. Vocational School is a secondary education institution that prepares graduates able to work in a particular field. SMK Negeri 5 Bandung has a computer lab space for drawing skills competency with software. The Conditions of computer lab room is still dark in terms of lighting, while in terms of air circulation in the computer lab is less convenient because it feels stuffy. This study aims to produce an overview of the computer laboratory condition, learn more about the proportion of space, combined lighting and air circulation in the computer lab 5 Vocational High School Bandung. This study discusses the performance evaluation of space in 5 Vocational High School Bandung with the case study of computer lab with performance metrics method. This research is a descriptive evaluative research using performance metrics method which includes three aspects to be reviewed namely, the proportion of space includes spacious living room, furniture layout, and circulation in the computer lab. The second aspect is the combined illumination intensity, and the third aspect is the air circulation. For the measurement of the proportion of space was conducted by measuring the room using the Meter Roll, the combined illumination intensity measurements using a light meter, and air circulation measurements using anemometer. For the data collection; observation, documentation, measurement, and interview were employed. While, for The research instrument using the observation sheet. The data acquisition of measurement metrics which had been compiled, was compared with standar permendiknas No.40 Year 2008 and Indonesia National Standard (SNI) regulations. The results showed that the performance of the space in terms of the proportion of space for living space as a length of 15.85 m and a width of 8.85 m is too large for 35 students. Then the furnitures in the computer lab space are still not complete and partially in damaged condition, do not meet the standards, but some already fulfill the existing standards. For the circulation space in the computer laboratory by 2.08 m width, when it was compared with the standard circulation is too large, because the standard width of circulation for two people walking is at 1.6 m. The combined illumination intensity is 341.54 lux, it is sufficient for recommended standard of SNI, but at one side is still dark. For ventilation in the computer lab is 8.4% of the floor area and it meets the standard conditions even though, some windows are broken , so that the incoming air is only 0.03 m / sec, which causes the heat of the temperature in the room. For the solution, it is suggested to organize the furniture due to the space proportion, replace and add some furniture. As for the lighting it should lessen the use of artificial lighting. According to the principle of performance metric, it is better to decrease the energy consumption. While in a very bright area it should use vertical blinds which are useful to reduce the incoming light to fit standard.
