Abstract
Abstrak Lari sprint dapat meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani siswa serta dapat meningkatkan keterampilan motorik siswa. Berdasarkan hasil observasi di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Cipaot, kemampuan berlari sprint siswa masih rendah hal tersebut dibuktikan dari hasil tes lari sprint 40 meter yang menunjukkan bahwa berlari siswa masih lambat. Agar siswa dapat berlari dengan cepat, belajar dengan menggunakan permainan bentengan sangatlah cocok untuk menjadi arena latihan. Menggunakan metode permainan sangat tepat digunakan saat pembelajaran karena dapat membuat siswa tertarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan bentengan terhadap kemampuan lari sprint siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Cipaot Kota Cilegon. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan pre- eksperimental design tipe one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Cipaot yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Hasil perhitungan persentase menunjukkan bahwa permainan bentengan memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan lari sprint siswa sebesar 18,26%. Kemudian hasil analisis data menggunakan uji paired sampel test memperoleh nilai sig 0,000 < 0,05. Jika nilai sig < 0,05 maka data memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan. Artinya, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil pretest dan posttest. Hasil uji hipotesis tersebut menunjukkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, yang kesimpulannya permainan bentengan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan lari sprint siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Cipaot Kota Cilegon. Sprinting can improve students' physical fitness and can improve students' motor skills. Based on the results of observations at Cipaot State Elementary School, students' sprinting ability is still low, this is proven by the results of the 40 meter sprint test which shows that students' running is still slow. So that students can run quickly, learning using the game of bentengan is very suitable as a training arena. Using the game method is very appropriate to use during learning because it can make students interested. This research aims to determine the effect of bentengan games on the sprinting ability of class IV students at Cipaot State Elementary School, Cilegon City. This research is experimental research with a pre-experimental design type one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study was all class IV students at Cipaot State Elementary School, totaling 30 students. The percentage calculation results show that the bentengan game has an influence on students' sprinting ability of 18.26%. Then the results of data analysis using the paired sample test obtained a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05. If the sig value <0.05 then the data has a significant difference. This means that there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results. The results of the hypothesis test show that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, the conclusion being that the bentengan game is able to improve the sprinting ability of class IV students at Cipaot State Elementary School, Cilegon City.
