Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang penerapan model pembelajaran pada proses pembelajaran yaitu model pembelajaran discovery learning menggunakan media pembelajaran berupa Lembar Kegiatan Siswa (LKS). Penelitian dilakukan di SMK Negeri 1 Cidaun dengan objek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X Jurusan Teknologi Pengolahan Hasil Pertanian (TPHP) yang berjumlah 25 orang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran discovery learning menggunakan LKS dan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah dilakukan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran discovery learning menggunakan LKS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif yang dilakukan sebanyak dua kali pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan tes. Observasi dilakukan pada saat proses pembelajaran berdasarkan kegiatan guru dan kegiatan siswa, sedangkan tes yang dilakukan adalah tes tertulis berupa pemberian soal uraian sebanyak dua kali masing-masing satu kali setiap akhir pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran discovery learning menggunakan LKS berlangsung secara efektif dengan persentase nilai rata-rata pertemuan I adalah 80,5% dan persentase nilai rata-rata pertemuan II adalah 81,7%. Nilai tes siswa mengalami peningkatan dari pertemuan I ke pertemuan II yaitu dari persentase kelulusan 4% menjadi 80%.

This research dicusses the application of learning models in the learning process namely Discovery Learning using intructional media in the form of Student Work Sheet. The research was conducted at SMKN 1 Cidaun with the object of research is the student of class X subject Agricultural Product Processing Technology which amounts to 25 people. The purpose of this research was to determine the learning process of Discovery Learning using Student Work Sheet and to determine wethere there is an increase in student learning outcomes after learning applying the models of Discovery Learning using Student Work Sheet. The methode used in this research is descrivtive that is conducted two meetings. Data collection techniques used this research are the observation and test. Observation made during the learning process, based on the activities of the teacher and student activities, while the test conducted is a matter of description in the form of a written test, twice each once at the end of each after the lesson. The result show that the learning process Discovery Learning take place effectively use the Student Work Sheet with the presentage of the averange value of the first meeting was 80,5% and the precentage value of the second meeting was 81,7%. Student test scores have increased from the first meeting to the second meeting of the passing rate is 4% to 80%.
