Abstract
Ekspansi perkotaan yang terjadi di Wilayah Metropolitan Bandung (WMB) telah memicu pergeseran pertumbuhan populasi, dari pusat kota ke kawasan pinggiran. Pesatnya pertumbuhan populasi di wilayah perkotaan mendorong konversi penggunaan lahan dan menyebabkan dampak lingkungan serta ekologi yang besar. Hal tersebut membuat perlunya analisis pengaruh ekspansi perkotaan terhadap Jasa ekosistem. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh ekspasnsi perkotaan terhadap Jasa ekosistem pada tahun 2013-2023. Metode support vector machine digunakan untuk menentukan penggunaan lahan dari citra landsat. Ekspansi perkotaan diukur dengan Annual Urban Expansion Rate (AUER) dan Urban Expansion Intensity Index (UEII). Jasa Ekosistem yang dipilih diantaranya, kapasitas penyimpanan karbon, pasokan makanan, dan kualitas udara (PM10). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada periode 2013-2018 AUER di WMB berkisar antara 0,67% -8,85%. Sedangkan pada periode 2018-2023 AUER di WMB berkisar antara 0,70% - 4,38%. UEII atau indeks intensitas ekspansi perkotaan di WMB pada periode 2013-2018 memiliki rentang nilai 0,14 - 0,86 dan pada periode 2018-2023 memiliki rentang nilai 0,21- 0,77. Jasa ekosistem kapasitas penyimpanan karbon mengalami perubahan yang cenderung positif dari 2013-2018 dan negatif pada tahun 2018-2023. Jasa ekosistem pasokan makanan mengalami penurunan jumlah produksi dari tahun 2013 dan 2023. Jasa ekosistem kualitas udara mengalami penambahan konsentrasi PM10 dari tahun 2013-2023. Dari uji statistic korelasi pearson dan regresi linear, didapatkan hasil bahwa ekspansi perkotaan memiliki korelasi positif dan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap ketiga Jasa ekosistem tersebut. Urban expansion in the Bandung Metropolitan Area (WMB) has triggered a population increase shift from the city center to the periphery. Rapid population growth in urban areas drives land use conversion and causes major environmental and ecological impacts. This makes it necessary to analyze the effect of urban expansion on ecosystem services. The main objective of this study is to analyze the effect of urban expansion on ecosystem services in 2013-2023. The support vector machine method was used to determine land use from Landsat images. Urban expansion is measured by Annual Urban Expansion Rate (AUER) and Urban Expansion Intensity Index (UEII). Ecosystem services were chosen including carbon storage capacity, food supply, and air quality (PM10). The results showed that in the period 2013-2018 AUER in WMB ranged from 0,67% - 8,85%. While in the period 2018-2023 AUER in WMB ranged from 0.70% - 4.38%. UEII or urban expansion intensity index in WMB in the 2013-2018 period has a value range of 0.14-0.86 and in the 2018-2023 period has a value range of 0.21 - 0.77. Carbon storage capacity have changes that tend to be positive from 2013-2018 and negative in 2018-2023. Food supply services experienced a decrease in the amount of production from 2013 and 2023. Air quality services have increased PM10 concentrations from 2013-2023. Pearson correlation and linear regression statistical tests showed that urban expansion has a positive correlation and significant influence on the three ecosystem services.
