Abstract

ABSTRAK Kesiapan menikah pada remaja merupakan keyakinan diri remaja mengenai kesanggupannya atas kemampuan diri untuk memasuki relasi pernikahan dan membangun hubungan keluarga. Penelitian ini muncul karena terdapat fenomena usia pernikahan pada anak dan kehamilan tidak diinginkan pada usia remaja. Salah satu alternatif layanan bimbingan pranikah berbasis tugas perkembangan dirumuskan guna menguji peningkatan kesiapan menikah peserta didik di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis pretest-posttest nonequivalent group quasi-experimental design digunakan dalam penelitian ini kemudian membandingkan kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol dalam pelaksanaannya. Partisipan kelompok eksperimen melibatkan 20 orang dan kelompok kontrol sebanyak 20 orang dari jumlah seluruh peserta didik 118 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan; (1) sebagian besar kesiapan menikah pada remaja cenderung cukup siap, (2)Analisis kebutuhan remaja yang telah disesuaikan dengan tugas tahapan perkembangan menjadi dasar rumusan program bimbingan pranikah berisikan komponen program (rasional, deskripsi kebutuhan, tujuan bimbingan pranikah berbasis tugas perkembangan, sasaran bimbingan, peran guru bimbingan dan konseling, struktur dan tahapan operasional, evaluasi dan indikator keberhasilan, serta pengembangan rencana pelaksanaan layanan), (3) bimbingan pranikah berbasis tugas perkembangan cukup layak di dalam diaplikasikan dalam mengembangkan kesiapan menikah peserta didik kelas XII. ABSTRACT Teenager Marriage readiness is the teenager’s understanding and ability of marriage readiness aspects to develop a healthy and strong relation. This study was inspired by the phenomenon of child marriage and teenager unwanted pregnancy. The alternative service of developmental-task based premarital counseling was developed to test marriage readiness improvement of students of vocational high school. The pretest-posttest nonequivalent group quasi-experimental design type of quantitative approach was used for this study where experimental group and control group were compared. Twenty participants were involved in the experimental group and twenty in the control group out of 118 students. Results of the study show that most of the teenagers were quite ready to get married although in the communication and ability to manage impulsivity aspect their scores were the lowest. Analysis of teenager’s needs that have been adjusted to the developmental stage tasks became the basis for the premarital counseling program. The t-test paired sampling conducted on the experimental group yielded the significance value of 0.000. This value fulfilled the requirement of significant value 0.000 <0.05 compared to the control group’s sig value is 0.234. The N-Gain pretest and posttest computation conducted on the experimental group produced the score of 62.27%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the developmental-task based premarital counseling was quite effective in promoting the marriage readiness of class XII students.
