Abstract

Layanan menjadi jasa utama yang ditawarkan oleh perpustakaan. Salah satu layanan vital yang berhubungan langsung dengan pemustaka adalah layanan sirkulasi. Layanan sirkulasi merupakan layanan yang utamanya berkaitan dengan peredaran bahan pustaka. Layanan sirkulasi yang berkualitas penting untuk disediakan oleh perpustakaan agar pemustaka merasa puas dan menumbuhkan motivasi untuk senantiasa berkunjung kembali ke perpustakaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kualitas layanan sirkulasi dengan motivasi kunjungan pemustaka di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Daerah Jawa Barat. Penilaian kualitas layanan sirkulasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan model LibQUAL yang terdiri dari tiga dimensi yaitu affect of service, information control, dan library as place. Motivasi kunjungan pemustaka dianalisis berdasarkan empat faktor yaitu intellectual factor, social factor, competency mastery factor, dan stimulus avoidance factor. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan simple random sampling. Responden dari penelitian ini adalah pemustaka Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Daerah Jawa Barat berjumlah 100 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan, kualitas layanan sirkulasi termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Motivasi kunjungan pemustaka juga termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Selain itu, temuan penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara kualitas layanan sirkulasi dan motivasi kunjungan pemustaka yang termasuk ke dalam kategori hubungan sedang. Services are the main point offered by libraries. One of the vital services that is directly related to users is circulation services. Circulation services are services that are mainly related to the circulation of library materials. It is important for libraries to provide high quality circulation services so that users feel satisfied and increase their motivation to keep visiting to the library. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between the quality of circulation services and user visit motivation at Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Daerah Jawa Barat. Assessment of the quality of circulation services is carried out using the LibQUAL model which consists of three dimensions, namely affect of service, information control, and library as place. The user visit motivation is analyzed based on four factors, namely intellectual factor, social factor, competency mastery factor, and stimulus avoidance factor. This research uses a quantitative approach with correlational methods. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The respondents of this research were 100 users of the Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Daerah Jawa Barat. Data collection techniques used was a questionnaire. The results show that overall, the quality of circulation services is in the very good category. User visit motivation is in the very good category. Apart from that, research findings also show that there is a relationship between the quality of circulation services and user visit motivation which is included in the moderate relationship category.
