Abstract
Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) merupakan salah satu virus endemik dan telah menjadi masalah kesehatan global karena sampai saat ini belum ditemukan obat yang bisa menyembuhkan virus sepenuhnya. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari Dinas Kesehatan Kota Bandung, HIV masih terus mengalami skala naik dan turun pada kasus penyebarannya. Perancangan media edukasi berbasis motion graphic dapat menjadi salah satu upaya pencegahan dalam memperkecil kasus penularan HIV/AIDS pada usia dewasa awal di Bandung Timur. Penggunaan motion graphic dipilih karena telah terbukti efektif dalam menyampaikan suatu informasi dengan penyajiannya yang dirancang menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui rancangan motion graphic dan bagaimana hasil uji cobanya sebagai media edukasi pencegahan penularan HIV/AIDS pada usia dewasa awal di Bandung Timur. Metode yang diterapkan adalah Desain & Development Research (DDR) model N.J. Manson dengan 5 tahapan, yaitu menyadari permasalahan yang ada (awareness of problem), memberikan saran (suggestion), mengembangkan produk (development), evaluasi (evaluation), dan memberikan kesimpulan (conclusion). Setelah media selesai dirancang, kemudian dilakukan validasi guna mengetahui kelayakan motion graphic bersama validator ahli materi dan ahli media, serta uji coba kepada 50 masyarakat di Bandung Timur dengan rentan usia 20-29 tahun. Berdasarkan hasil validasi yang dilakukan, perancangan media memperoleh skor dari validasi ahli materi sebesar 90%, validasi ahli media sebesar 98%, dan uji coba kepada responden sebesar 87,6%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah motion graphic yang dirancang sudah sangat baik dan sangat layak digunakan sebagai media edukasi pencegahan penularan HIV/AIDS pada usia dewasa awal di Bandung Timur. ------------- Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is one of the endemic viruses and has become a global health problem because until now no drug has been found that can cure the virus completely. Based on data obtained from the Bandung City Health Office, HIV continues to experience an up and down scale in its spread. Designing educational media based on motion graphics can be one of the prevention efforts in minimizing cases of HIV/AIDS transmission in East Bandung in early adulthood. The use of motion graphics was chosen because it has been proven effective in conveying information with its attractive presentation. This study aims to determine the design of motion graphics and how the results of the trial as an educational medium for preventing HIV/AIDS transmission in early adulthood in East Bandung. The method applied is the Design & Development Research (DDR) model of N.J. Manson with 5 stages, namely realizing the existing problems (awareness of problems), providing suggestions (suggestion), developing products (development), evaluation (evaluation), and providing conclusions (conclusion). After the media was designed, validation was carried out to determine the feasibility of motion graphics with material expert validators and media experts, as well as trials to 50 people in East Bandung with an age range of 20-29 years. Based on the results of the validation carried out, the media design obtained a score from material expert validation of 90%, media expert validation of 98%, and trials to respondents of 87.6%. The conclusion of this research is that the motion graphics designed are very good and very feasible to use as educational media for preventing HIV / AIDS transmission in early adulthood in East Bandung.
