Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Penggunaan Scrabble Word Games Digital Dengan Pendekatan EMRED Untuk Meneningkatkan hasil mengingat Kosakata Bahasa Inggri Siswa Kelas IV SDN Caringin 1. Populasi penelitian ini mencakup seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN Caringin 1. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh, dengan jumlah sampel sebenyak 25 siswa di kelas eksperimen dan 25 siswa di kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Quasi Eksperimen, dan menggunakan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes pilihan ganda, sedangkan non tes berupa angket untuk mengetahui tindak lanjut. Dari hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa dari hasil uji Wilcoxon dan Mann Whitney didapat nilai Sig.= 0,000 < 0,05 artinya menyakan bahwa HO ditolak dan Ha diterima. Yang diperkuat juga dari hasil rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen sebesar 87,2 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 79,6. Dan diperoleh juga hasil N-Gain rata-rata kelas kontrol sebesar 29.5% sedangkan kelas eksperimen sebesar 59,5%. Tindak lanjut terhadap peningkatan kemampuan kosakata Bahasa Inggris siswa kelas IV SDN Caringin 1 dengan media scrabble word games digital dan pendekatan EMRED diperoleh hasil 88,9 %. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Penggunaan Scrabble Word Games Digital Dengan Pendekatan EMRED lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kosakata Bahasa Inggris siswa kelas IV SDN Caringin 1 dibanding pembelajaran konvensional. This study aims to determine how to use digital scrabble word games with EMRED approach to improve English vocabulary of grade IV students of SDN Caringin 1. The population of this study included all grade IV students of SDN Caringin 1. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, with a total sample of 25 students in the experimental class and 25 students in the control class. This study used a quantitative approach with Quasi-Experimental method, and used Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Data collection techniques are in the form of multiple-choice tests, while non-tests are in the form of questionnaires to determine follow-up. From the results of this study, it was concluded that from the results of the Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney test, the value of Sig.= 0.000 < 0.05 means that HO is rejected and Ha is accepted. Which was also reinforced by the average posttest results of the experimental class of 87.2 and the control class of 79.6. And also obtained the average N-Gain result of the control class of 29.5% while the experimental class was 59.5%. Follow-up on improving the English vocabulary skills of grade IV students of SDN Caringin 1 with digital scrabble word games and EMRED approach obtained results of 88.9%. The conclusion of this study is that the use of Digital Scrabble Word Games with EMRED Approach is more effective in increasing English vocabulary of grade IV students of SDN Caringin 1 compared to conventional learning.
