Abstract
Salah satu kemampuan yang harus dimiliki peserta didik saat ini adalah kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Namun, pada kenyataannya tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik di Indonesia terbilang masih rendah. Kondisi ini menunjukkan bahwa perlunya penggunaan model pembelajaran yang tepat agar hasil pembelajaran dapat dikatakan tuntas dan efektif. Model pembelajaran tersebut adalah model project based learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model project based learning berbantuan media powerpoint dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif IPA peserta didik kelas V di SDN 1 Muara Ciujung Barat. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode quasi experiment. Desain pada penelitian ini adalah nonequivalent control group design. Populasi yang digunakan adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas V di SDN 1 Muara Ciujung Barat. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas VA dan VB di SDN 1 Muara Ciujung Barat yang masing-masing berjumlah 30 peserta didik, dengan penentuan sampel yaitu menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah berupa instrumen tes berbentuk essay yang berjumlah 10 soal. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah dengan cara mencari nilai rata-rata peserta didik yang akan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel. Setelah data dinyatakan berdistribusi normal dan bersifat homogen, maka analisis data selanjutnya akan menggunakan uji analisis parametrik menggunakan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan menggunakan uji independent t-test dan uji paired t-test, tingkat Sig. = 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti H₀ ditolak dan Hᵢ diterima. Hal ini juga diperkuat dengan hasil uji N-Gain pada kelas eksperimen yang menunjukkan nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 56% yang berarti termasuk ke dalam kategori sedang. Dengan kata lain hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model project based learning di kelas eksperimen efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif IPA peserta didik kelas V di SDN 1 Muara Ciujung Barat sesudah menggunakan model project based learning berbantuan media powerpoint. One of the abilities that students must have is the ability to think creatively. However, in reality the level of creative thinking abilities of students in Indonesia is still relatively low. This condition shows that it is necessary to use appropriate learning models so that learning outcomes can be said to be complete and effective. The learning model is a project based learning model. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the project based learning model assisted by PowerPoint media in improving the science creative thinking abilities of class V students at SDN 1 Muara Ciujung Barat. This type of research is quantitative research with a quasi experimental method. The design of this study was a nonequivalent control group design. The population used was all class V students at SDN 1 Muara Ciujung Barat. The samples in this research were students in classes VA and VB at SDN 1 Muara Ciujung Barat, each numbering 30 students, with sample determination using a saturated sampling technique. The instrument used in this research was a test instrument in the form of an essay consisting of 10 questions. The data analysis technique in this research is by finding the average value of students which will be presented in table form. After the data is declared to be normally distributed and homogeneous, the next data analysis will use a parametric analysis test using the t test. Based on the results of calculations using the independent t-test and paired t-test, the Sig. = 0.000 < 0.05, which means H₀ is rejected and Hᵢ is accepted. This is also reinforced by the results of the N-Gain test in the experimental class which shows an average N-Gain value of 56%, which means it is included in the medium category. In other words, the results of this research show that the project based learning model in the experimental class is effective in improving students' creative thinking abilities. The research results also showed that there was an increase in the creative thinking abilities of science class V students at SDN 1 Muara Ciujung Barat after using the project based learning model assisted by PowerPoint media.
