Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui profil karakter kindness anak Taman Kanak-kanak Lab. School UPI Bandung ,yaitu melalui permainan tradisonal. (1) Seperti apa profil karakter kindness anak usia Taman Kank-kanak Lab. School UPI Bandung? (2) Bagaimana dan dengan cara apa pengembangan karakter kindness ditunjukan dalam kegiatan permainan tradisional di TK Lab. School UPI Bandung? Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalahu untuk mengetahui profil karakter kindness anak Taman Kanak-kanak Lab. School UPI Bandung. Untuk mengetahui cara pengembangan karakter kindness dalam kegiatan permainan tradisonal di Taman Kanak-Kanak Lab. School UPI Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah anak kelompok TK A dan anak kelompok TK B di TK Lab. School UPI Bandung. Analisis data diperoleh melaui hasil observasi,wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Tahap dalam penelitian analisis deskripsi ini yaitu tahap lapangan dan tahap pekerjaan lapangan dan tahap analisis data. Dari hasil penelit yang di dapatkan menunjukan bahwa permainan tradisional dapat mengembangkan karakter kindness anak, karena dalam permainan tradisonal banyak mengandung nilai-nilai karakter yang positif seperti hal nya dalam permainan locat tali, karakter kindness yang muncul pada permainan itu adalah narturance ditunjukan oleh anak ketika menunggu giliran saat permainan berlangsung. Rekomendasi yang diberikan untuk pendidik anak usia dini yaitu pengenalan dan pengembangan permainan tradisional ini dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif untuk mengembangakn karakter kindness anak. ----- This study was conducted to determine the character profiles Kindness kindergarten children Lab. To find out how the development of Kindness characters in traditional gaming activities in Kindergarten Lab. School UPI Bandung. This study uses descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. Subjects were children kindergarten group A and group of kindergarten children in kindergarten Lab. School UPI Bandung. Analysis of the data obtained through observation, interviews and documentary studies. Stage in this research is the analysis of the description field stage and phase of field work and data analysis stages. From the results of the researcher in getting shows that traditional games can develop the character of kindness the child, because the game contains a lot of traditional values such as respect the positive character in the game is locat his rope, kindness characters that appear in the game it is narturance shown by children while waiting turn during the game. Recommendations are given for early childhood educators namely the introduction and expansion of traditional games can be used as alternatives to mengembangakn Kindness child characters.
