Abstract

ABSTRAK DAYA KREATIVITAS PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI MATERI GAYA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPA BERBANTU PERMAINAN LILIN MAINAN BERWARNA Khanifatul Janah Program Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Kampus Daerah Serang Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Pendidikan karakter merupakan salah satu bagian penting untuk menanamkan perilaku-perilaku positif terutama pada peserta didik yang kemudian diharapkan mampu diimplementasikan dalam kehidupan. Salah satu karakter yang masih kurang mendapatkan perhatian dan wadah untuk mengembangkannya adalah daya kreativitas. Penanaman pendidikan karakter daya kreativitas bukan hanya serta merta dilakukan dengan metode yang umum, namun harus mampu memilih metode yang unik untuk mensukseskannya. Metode pembelajaran bermain sambil belajar dengan lilin mainan berwarna mampu mengorek lebih jauh hal-hal unik dan melibatkan lebih banyak ruang berekspresi bagi peserta didik untuk menuangkan daya kreativitas yang kemudian dikaitkan dalam sebuah materi IPA yaitu materi gaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pola kemunculan daya kreativitas peserta didik melalui permainan lilin mainan berwarna. Penelitian ini berisikan rekam jejak yang dirangkai oleh peneliti sendiri yang kemudian didukung oleh peserta didik kelas 4, wali kelas dan kepala sekolah SDN Cimoyan dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa studi dokumentasi, field note, wawancara, serta jurnal refleksi. Menarik pembaca untuk terlibat aktif dalam situasi yang ada pada penelitian ini, akhirnya peneliti memilih pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian narrative inquiry yang kemudian dikemas sedemikian rupa agar pembaca mudah memahami alur cerita yang dihadirkan. Penelitian ini menghadirkan adanya daya kreativitas pada peserta didik melalui permainan lilin mainan berwarna. Daya kreativitas yang dihadirkan peserta didik memang mengalami naik turun selama proses penelitian berlangsung. Bentuk daya kreativitas ini terdiri dari peserta didik mampu membuat hasil karya yang unik serta berbeda dari yang lain, mampu menampilkan hasil karya versi diri sendiri, menanyakan segala sesuatu selama proses pembelajaran, bangga dan yakin terhadap hasil karya sendiri serta mampu menyelesaikan karya tanpa bantuan teman. Kata kunci : Pendidikan Karakter, Metode Bermain Sambil Belajar, Daya Kreativitas. ABSTRACT CHARACTER CREATIVITY THROUGH STYLE MATERIALS IN SCIENCE SUBJECTS WITH THE HELP OF COLORED TOY CANDLE GAMES Khanifatul Janah Elementary School Teacher Education Program, Serang Regional Campus Indonesian Education University Character education is an important part of instilling positive behaviors, especially in students, which are then expected to be able to be implemented in life. One character that still doesn't get enough attention and space to develop it is creativity. Cultivating creative character education is not only done using general methods, but must be able to choose unique methods to make it a success. The learning method of playing while learning with colored toy candles is able to discover further unique things and involve more space for expression for students to express their creativity which is then linked to science material, namely style material. The aim of this research is to determine the pattern of emergence of students' creativity through playing with colored toy candles. This research contains track records compiled by the researcher himself which was then supported by grade 4 students, homeroom teachers and the principal of SDN Cimoyan using data collection techniques in the form of documentation studies, field notes, interviews, and reflective journals. Attracting the reader to be actively involved in the situation in this research, the researcher finally chose a qualitative approach with the narrative inquiry research method which was then packaged in such a way that the reader could easily understand the storyline presented. This research presents students with creativity through playing with colored toy candles. The creativity presented by students experienced ups and downs during the research process. This form of creativity consists of students being able to create work that is unique and different from others, being able to present their own version of the work, asking questions about everything during the learning process, being proud and confident in their own work and being able to complete the work without the help of friends.
