Abstract

Rizki Raynaldi 1006393 ABSTRAK Kawasan wisata candi Cangkuang merupakan salah satu kawasan wisata yang diunggulkan di kabupaten Garut, karena kawasan wisata ini mampu menjadi solusi bagi setiap orang yang ingin mencari udara bersih, suasana alam yang sejuk dan panorama alam yang indah. Tidak heran jika di setiap tahunnya mengalami peningkatan kedatangan wisatawan. Aktivitas wisatawan yang datang kesana bermacam-macam, akan tetapi banyak juga wisatawan yang melakukan aktivitas vandalisme baik yang disadari maupun tidak disadari sehingga menimbulkan dampak terhadap kualitas lingkungan disana. Tujuan konsep pengembangan fasilitas interpretasi ini yaitu dalam usaha meminimalisir aktivitas vandalisme, memperkaya pengalaman dan pengetahuan wisatawan serta meningkatkan apresiasi terhadap nilai luhur budaya Candi Cangkuang dan kepedulian wisatawan terhadap lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran dengan menganalisis tanggapan wisatawan tentang fasilitas interpretrasi yang ada disana dan tanggapan wisatawan terhadap aktivitas vandalisme. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk konsep pengembangan fasilitas interpretasi ini adalah dengan menggunakan analisis tapak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tanggapan wisatawan terhadap fasilitas interpretasi disana cukup baik, namun di sisi lain hasil penelitian juga menunjukan bahwa keragaman dan kemenarikan fasilitas interpretasi disana kurang baik. Maka perlu dikembangkannya fasilitas interpretasi disesuaikan dengan kondisi lingkungan disana. Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, Fasilitas Interpretasi, Wisata Budaya, Aktivitas Vandalisme. Cangkuang Temple is one of the favored tourist area in Garut Regency, because this tourist area could be a solution for everyone who wants to find clean air, natural atmosphere and beautiful natural scenery. Not surprisingly, in each year has increased tourist arrivals. Travelers activities who coming there is various, but many travelers also doing vandalism activities either consciously or unconsciously, so that make a bad impact for the environments quality there. This research used mixed methods to analyze the responses of travelers about interpretation facilities and vandalism activities. The purpose of this development concepts of the interpretation facilites in an effort to enrich the visitor experience and knowledge and increase appreciation of the cultural values and make visitors more care to the environment. The data analysis techniques used for the development concepts of interpretation facilities is using site plan analysis. Based on results of the research showed that travelers response about interpretation facilities there is good rather, but on the other side the results also show that the diversity and attractiveness of the interpretation facilities there is less good. It is necessary the development of interpretation facilities adapted to the condition of environmental there.
