    Abstract

    Parasitoid merupakanagenpengendalihayati yang dianggap efektif dalam mengontrol hama yang merusak sayuran dan buah-buahan. Cabai merupakan salah satu sayuran yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi namun sering kali terserang hama lalat buah Bactrocera dorsalis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui parasitoid yang muncul dari pupa lalatbuah Bactroceradorsalis pada tanaman cabai. Pupa lalat buah B.dorsalis diperoleh melalui rearing tanaman cabai yang berindikasi berisi lalat buah. Buah belimbing diambil dari daerah Lembang, Bandung. Pupa lalat buah yang diperoleh kemudian dipelihara/didewasakan di dalam screen-cage sampai imago muncul. Imago parasitoid yang muncul diamati dan diidentifikasi menggunakan buku identifikasi Borror et. al. (1996) dan kunci identifikasi Wharton et. al. (2007). Hasil identifikasi dan determinasi didapatkan satu jenis parasitoid yang keluar dari pupa B. dorsalis yaitu Opius sp.. Hasil persentase parasitisasi Opius sp. sebesar 2,9%.----- Parasitoid is biological control agents are considered to be effective in controlling pests that damage vegetables and fruits. The chili is one of the vegetables that have high economic value but often infested fruit fly Bactrocera dorsalis. This research is a descriptive study, which aims to determine pupal parasitoids that emerged from fruit fly Bactrocera dorsalis on pepper plants. B.dorsalis fruit fly pupae obtained through rearing of pepper plants with indications of containing fruit flies. Star fruit is taken from Lembang, Bandung. Fruit fly pupae obtained and maintained/ matured in the screen-cage until the imago emerged. Imago emerging parasitoids were observed and identified using identification books Borror et.al. (1996) and the identification of key Wharton et.al. (2007). The results obtained identification and determination of the type of parasitoid pupae out of B. dorsalis is Opius sp.. The result percentage of parasitization Opius sp. is 2.9 %
