Abstract

Salah satu kemampuan dalam aspek menulis pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di jenjang sekolah dasar adalah kemampuan menulis pantun. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan untuk mengatasi kesulitan menulis pantun yang masih banyak dialami oleh siswa kelas 5. Kesulitan tersebut disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor. Faktor internal, yaitu siswa tidak memiliki ide dan kosakata yang luas sehingga mereka kebingungan saat menulis pantun, serta faktor eksternal, yaitu kurangnya penggunaan model-model pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran yang inovatif. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menerapkan model multiliterasi transformasi berbantuan media poster untuk mengatasi kesulitan menulis pantun tersebut. Subjek yang diteliti adalah siswa kelas 5A di SDN 1 Ciwareng yang berjumlah 34 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data adalah lembar observasi dan tes kemampuan menulis pantun. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat diperoleh kesimpulan: 1) Aktivitas pembelajaran siswa kelas 5A di SD Negeri 1 Ciwareng memiliki peningkatan, pada siklus I skor aktivitas siswa sebesar 70% dan pada siklus II skor aktivitas siswa sebesar 90%, dan 2) Kemampuan menulis pantun siswa kelas 5A memiliki peningkatan nilai, pada siklus I nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 68,13 dan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 86,5 sehingga peningkatan yang didapatkan sebesar 18,37 poin. Dengan demikian, penerapan model multiliterasi transformasi berbantuan media poster dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis pantun siswa sekolah dasar. ----- One of the abilities in the writing aspect of Indonesian language subjects at the elementary school level is writing pantun. This classroom action research was carried out to overcome the difficulties in writing pantun that many grade 5 students still experience. Several factors cause these difficulties. The internal factor is that students do not have broad ideas and vocabulary so they are confused when writing pantun, and the external factor is the lack of use of innovative learning models and learning media. The researcher used the classroom action research method by applying the multiliteracy transformation model assisted by poster media to overcome the difficulties of writing the pantun. The subjects studied were 34 students in class 5A at SDN 1 Ciwareng. The instruments used to obtain data were observation sheets and pantun writing ability tests. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded: 1) The learning activities of class 5A students at SD Negeri 1 Ciwareng have increased, in cycle I the student activity score was 70% and in cycle II the student activity score was 90%, and 2) the ability to write pantun for class 5A students had an increase in value, in the cycle In cycle I the average student score was 68.13 and in cycle II the average student score was 86.5 so the increase obtained was 18.37 points. Thus, applying the multiliteracy transformation model assisted by poster media can improve elementary school students' pantun writing ability.
