Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena penundaan dalam menyelesaikan tugas akademik pada peserta didik yang semakin meningkat. Tujuan penelitian yaitu menghasilkan program bimbingan belajar berdasarkan profil prokrastinasi akademik peserta didik SMPN 40 Bandung. Penelitian menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan menggunakan teknik survey. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen prokrastinasi akademik yang telah melalui uji keterbacaan, rasional, dan empiris. Penelitian menggunakan teknik probability sampling dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling yang berarti seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 40 Bandung yang berjumlah 331 peserta didik merupakan sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan gambaran prokrastinasi akademik peserta didik secara umum berada pada kategori sedang yang menjadi dasar penyusunan program bimbingan belajar berdasarkan area prokrastinasi akademik. Program yang dihasilkan telah layak untuk digunakan berdasarkan uji rasional ahli dan praktisi dalam bidang bimbingan dan konseling. Program bimbingan belajar yang disusun dari hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat menjadi pedoman pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan belajar dalam mengurangi prokrastinasi akademik peserta didik di Sekolah Menengah Pertama. The research was motivated by the increasing phenomenon of delays in completing academic assignments among students. The aim of the research is to produce a tutoring program based on the academic procrastination profile of SMPN 40 Bandung students. The research uses a quantitative research design with descriptive methods and uses survey techniques. Data collection uses academic procrastination instruments that have gone through readability, rational and empirical tests. The research used a probability sampling technique with sampling using total sampling, which means that all class VIII students at SMPN 40 Bandung, totaling 331 students, were the research sample. The results of the research show that the profile of students' academic procrastination is generally in the medium category, which is the basis for preparing tutoring programs based on the area of academic procrastination. The resulting program is suitable for use based on rational testing by experts and practitioners in the field of guidance and counseling. It is hoped that the academic guidance program compiled from the research results can serve as a guide for implementing academic guidance services in reducing the academic procrastination of students in junior high schools.
