Abstract

Ide bunuh diri adalah pemikiran negatif yang muncul terkait dengan kematian serta upaya untuk self harm sendiri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memahami karakteristik ide bunuh diri pada remaja serta mengembangkan layanan bimbingan yang sesuai dengan karakteristik ide bunuh diri. sekolah merupakan tempat dasar untuk melakukan preventif dan intervensi yang merupakan program terbaik untuk menangani remaja yang terindikasi resiko bunuh diri. Sehingga maksud dari dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk memahami fenomena ide bunuh diri pada remaja khususnya di lingkungan sekolah yang masih menjadi hal yang sangat tabu dan cenderung diabaikan oleh guru BK ataupun staf sekolah lainnya.Pendekatan yang digunakan merupakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah tiga siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 12 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengambilan data purposesive sampling. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat tiga karakteristik yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini antara lain, lelah menghadapi kehidupan, diri ini tidak seperti yang lain dan menyayat tangan itu menyenangkan. Siswa kedua memiliki kecenderungan ide bunuh diri yang lebih tinggi di banding siswa pertama dan ketiga, hal ini berdasarkan intensitas munculnya ide bunuh diri serta seberapa lama ide tersebut muncul. Hasil penelitian ini juga menghasilkan rancangan layanan untuk mereduksi ide bunuh diri pada ketiga partisipan. Suicidal ideation is a negative thought that arises related to death and attempts to harm oneself. The purpose of this study is to understand the characteristics of suicidal ideation in adolescents and develop guidance services that are in accordance with the characteristics of suicidal ideation. school is the basic place to carry out prevention and intervention which is the best program to deal with adolescents who are indicated to be at risk of suicide. The purpose of this research is to understand the phenomenon of suicidal ideation in adolescents, especially in the school environment, which is still a very taboo subject and tends to be ignored by counseling teachers or other school staff.The approach used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study method. The subjects of this study were three 8th grade students at SMPN 12 Bandung. This research uses purposive sampling technique. The findings of this study indicate that there are three characteristics found in this study, among others, tired of facing life, this self is not like the others and cutting hands is fun. The second student has a higher tendency of suicidal ideation than the first and third students, this is based on the intensity of the emergence of suicidal ideation and how long the idea appears. The results of this study also resulted in a service design to reduce suicidal ideation in the three participants.
