Abstract

Dalam olahraga, identifikasi bakat merupakan langkah pendeteksian suatu kemampuan untuk mengubah atlet muda menjadi bintang dimasa depan. Namun, tim penguji mengalami kesulitan saat mengidentifikasi potensi tanpa kriteria serta ukuran yang objektif saat proses penilaian, hal Ini menimbulkan risiko penilaian yang salah, untuk ⁰meminimalisir kesalahan penulis mencoba menyusun kriteria serta ukuran yang objektif dalam identifikasi bakat bola voli dengan menerapkan metode pengambilan keputusan Analytic Hierarchy Process. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode Mixed-Method Research atau metode campuran antara kuantitatif dengan kualitatif dalam satu penelitian. Pertimbangan pengambilan keputusan dianalisis menggunakan Analytic Hierarchy Process yang dilengkapi dengan Expert Choice 11 sebagai software penghasil data. Sampel terdiri dari atlet aktif (n=8), senior (n=7) dan pelatih (n=10) yang berada di daerah Jawa Barat dengan pengalaman pembinaan mulai dari 5-20 tahun. Bedasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat 10 sub-kriteria dengan pembobotan paling tinggi diantara 17 sub-kriteria lainnya yaitu tinggi badan, strength, power, aerobik, passing, endurance, agility, fleksibility, coordination, dan service, dari data tersebut dapat diketahui bahwasanya tinggi badan merupakan sub-kriteria yang memiliki bobot prioritas yang paling tinggi. Hasil penelitian dapat dijadikan acuan oleh pelatih sebagai kriteria utama yang harus diperhatikan dalam mengidentifikasi bakat calon atlet bola voli usia 13-15 tahun. In sports, talent identification is a step in detecting abilities to turn young athletes into future stars. However, the testing team had difficulty identifying potential without objective criteria and measures during the assessment process. So to minimize this, the author tries to develop objective criteria and measures in identifying volleyball player talent using the Analytic Hierarchy Process decision making method. This research applies the Mixed-Method Research method or a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods in one research. Decision making considerations are analyzed using the Analytic Hierarchy Process which is equipped with Expert Choice 11 as data generating software. The sample consisted of active athletes (n=8), seniors (n=7) and coaches (n=10) who live in the West Java region with coaching experience between 5-20 years. Based on the research results, there are 10 sub-criteria that have the highest weight among 17 other sub-criteria, namely height, strength, power, aerobics, passing, endurance, agility, flexibility, coordination and service. From this data, height is the sub-criterion that has the highest priority weight. The results of this research are used as a reference by coaches as the main criteria that must be considered in identifying the talent of prospective volleyball athletes aged 13-15 years.
