Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan siswa untuk menceritakan pengalamannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah ingin meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam pembelajaran menceritakan pengalaman dan hasil belajar siswa serta terciptanya suasana pembelajaran yang aktif, kreatif, efektif, dan menyenangkan (PAKEM). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus di kelas VII F yang siswanya berjumlah 40 orang yang terdiri atas 24 siswa laki-laki dan 16 orang siswa perempuan. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri atas lembar tes dan pedoman observasi. Pedoman observasi yang digunakan terdiri dari lembar observasi aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa dan catatan lapangan. Tehnik yang digunakannya adalah tes kemampuan siswa, observasi, dan catatan lapangan. Hasil belajar siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran pra-penelitian ada 7 orang atau 17,50% termasuk dalam kategori tuntas, sedangkan 33 orang atau 82,50% termasuk kategori belum tuntas. Rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh siswa yaitu 64,68. Pada tes siklus I ada 21 orang atau 52,50% termasuk dalam kategori tuntas, sedangkan 19 orang atau 47,50% termasuk kategori belum tuntas. Rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh siswa yaitu 72,56. Dalam hasil siklus II adalah seluruh siswa mencapai nilai diatas KKM atau 100% dari 40 orang siswa masuk dalam kategori tuntas. Rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh siswa yaitu 81,68. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, bisa disimpulkan bahwa modél mind mapping dalam pembelajaran menceritakan pengalaman bisa meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dan bisa menciptakan suasana belajar yang aktif, kreatif, efektif, dan menyenangkan (PAKEM). The study aims to increase student ability of teliing experiences lesson and study result, along with to create of spirit, active, creative, effective, and fun learning. This study used classroom research. This research was conducted in two class at VII F grade student, that have 40 students of 24 boys student, and 16 girls student. The orientation of the observation was consist of observation teacher activities, student activities and range of activities. The student result of studying before the observation there are 7 students or 17,50% were counted on complete category, while 33 students or 82,50% weren’t counted on complete category. The average score of students is 64,68. At the first of cycles test there are 21 students or 52,50% were counted on complete category, while 19 students or 47,50% weren’t counted on complete category. The average score of students is 72,56. The result of second cycles was all students reach score above KKM or 100% of 40 students were counted on complete category. The average score of students is 81,68. The result of this research that Mind Mapping model on the telling experiences lesson was increased the student ability and created spirit, active, creative, effective, and fun learning.
