Abstract

Kurikulum wajib berpedoman pada prinsip relevansi. Pendidikan merupakan upaya mempersiapkan peserta didik di masa depan untuk terjun dalam perubahan masyarakat dan perkembangan teknologi. Tantangan yang dihadapi sekolah yang mengembangkan kurikulum tidak bekerjasama dengan pihak Dunia kerja, SKKNI, dan kebutuhan industri.. Pada praktiknya, dunia kerja menetapkan standar kompetensi pekerja yang diatas kompetensi lulusan bagi siswa SMK, meskipun kurikulum kompetensi telah dipadukan dengan kebutuhan kompetensi pada dunia kerja. Manajemen Perkantoran dan Layanan Bisnis (MPLB) pada dasarnya merupakan keahlian dibidang pengorganisasian dan secara khusus bidang kesekretarisan. Salah satu kompetensi yang dianggap kurang relevan lagi adalah keahlian stenografi yang kemudian digantikan dengan Simdig adalah pengelolaan kantor modern yaitu menguasai melaksanakan sebagian besar aktivitas menggunakan komputer, internet, dan teknologi digital. Adapun judul tesis adalah ”Relevansi Kompetensi Manajemen Perkantoran dan Layanan Bisnis dengan Kebutuhan Dunia Kerja”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat Relevansi beberapa Kompetensi MPLB dengan Kebutuhan Dunia Kerja. Relevansi tersebut berkaitan kompetensi Soft Skill dan Hard Skill dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Kuantitatif dan Kualitatif. Metode penelitian Educational System Evaluation Model. Penentuan Populasi dan Sampel menggunakan teknik accidental sampling yaitu pihak Dunia kerja sebanyak 47 responden dan 3 responden wawancara. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi dokumentasi, angket, dan wawancara. Tahap awal penelitian ini relevansi kompetensi 6 dimensi profil pelajar pancasila, manajemen logistik, Manajemen SDM Sarpras, Manajemen Perkantoran, dan Dasar Manajemen perkantoran dengan Buku Panduan dan SKKNI. Kemudian melakukan survey kepada dunia kerja. Tahap akhir pendapat dunia kerja terhadap kompetensi MPLB. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar kompetensi MPLB telah relevan. Namun sebagian lainnya pada soft skill yaitu kurangnya pengembangan sikap Berkebhinekaan global, kemudian pada hard skill yaitu Manajemen Logistik diajarkan pada fase F sedangkan CP berada pada Fase E, serta pentingnya pengembangan kompetensi Tata ruang kantor. Dengan demikian sekolah dapat melakukan penyempurnaan dalam pengembangan kurikulum. The curriculum must be guided by the principle of relevance. Education is an effort to prepare students in the future to participate in changes in society and technological developments. The challenges faced by schools that develop curricula are not collaborating with the world of work, SKKNI, and industrial needs. In practice, the world of work sets employee competency standards that are above graduate competency for vocational school students, even though the competency curriculum has been integrated with competency requirements in the world of work. Office Management and Business Services (MPLB) is basically expertise in the field of organizing and specifically the secretarial field. One of the competencies that is considered less relevant is stenography skills which were later replaced by Simdig, namely modern office management, namely mastering carrying out most activities using computers, the internet and digital technology. The title of the thesis is "The Relevance of Office Management Competencies and Business Services to the Needs of the World of Work". This research aims to see the relevance of several MPLB competencies to the needs of the world of work. This relevance relates to Soft Skill and Hard Skill competencies with the needs of the world of work. The approach used is Quantitative and Qualitative Research. Educational System Evaluation Model research method. Determining the population and sample using accidental sampling technique, namely the world of work as many as 47 respondents and 3 interview respondents. The research instruments used were documentation studies, questionnaires and interviews. The initial stage of this research is the relevance of the 6 dimensions of the Pancasila student profile, logistics management, infrastructure and human resources management, office management, and basic office management with the Guidebook and SKKNI. Then conduct a survey of the world of work. The final stage of opinion from the world of work regarding MPLB competence. The research results show that most of the MPLB competencies are relevant. However, the other part is soft skills, namely the lack of development of a global diversity attitude, then hard skills, namely Logistics Management, is taught in phase F while CP is in Phase E, as well as the importance of developing office layout competencies. In this way, schools can make improvements in curriculum development.
