Abstract

Kota Bandung bagian timur merupakan wilayah dengan alih fungsi lahan menjadi permukiman dan riwayat bencana banjir yang tinggi di Kota Bandung dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Hal tersebut menuntut dilakukannya evaluasi terhadap pembangunan permukiman yang terjadi dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi kesesuaian lahan permukiman terhadap zona bahaya banjir menggunakan sistem informasi geografis. Sistem informasi geografis digunakan untuk mengevaluasi kesesuaian lahan permukiman terhadap zona bahaya banjir melalui berbagai data spasial sebagai indikator. Data spasial diolah menggunakan berbagai tools dan kemudian dilakukan weighted overlay untuk menghasilkan informasi kesesuaian lahan permukiman terhadap zona bahaya banjir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat empat kelas kesesuaian lahan permukiman, yakni sangat sesuai, sesuai, sesuai marginal, dan tidak sesuai serta terdapat tiga kelas zona bahaya banjir, yakni rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Kelas kesesuaian lahan sangat sesuai tersebar di Kecamatan Gedebage, Kecamatan Rancasari, Kecamatan Panyileukan, dan Kecamatan Cinambo. Sedangkan kelas kesesuaian lahan sesuai, sesuai marginal, dan tidak sesuai mayoritas tersebar di Kecamatan Cibiru dan Kecamatan Ujungberung. Kemudian zona bahaya banjir tinggi mendominasi Kota Bandung bagian timur. Sedangkan zona bahaya banjir rendah dan sedang menyebar di setiap kecamatan dengan mayoritas berada di Kecamatan Cibiru dan Kecamatan Ujungberung. Hasil evaluasi kesesuaian lahan permukiman terhadap zona bahaya banjir menunjukkan terdapat tiga kelas kesesuaian lahan, yakni sesuai (A), sesuai (B), dan tidak sesuai. Kelas kesesuaian lahan sesuai (B) mendominasi wilayah Kota Bandung bagian timur. Artinya, mayoritas permukiman di Kota Bandung bagian timur telah sesuai tetapi memiliki tingkat bahaya banjir sedang dan tinggi. The eastern part of Bandung City is an area where land has been converted into settlement areas and has a history of high levels of flood disasters in Bandung City in recent years. This requires an evaluation of settlement development that has occurred in recent years. The main objective of this research is to evaluate the suitability of settlement land towards flood hazard zones using a geographic information system. The geographic information system is used to evaluate the suitability of settlement land towards flood hazard zones using various spatial data as indicators. Spatial data is processed using various tools and then weighted overlay is carried out to produce information on the suitability of settlement land towards flood hazard zones. The research results show that there are four classes of settlement land suitability, namely very suitable, suitable, marginally suitable, and not suitable and there are three classes of flood hazard zones, namely low, medium and high. Very suitable land suitability classes are spread across Gedebage District, Rancasari District, Panyileukan District, and Cinambo District. Meanwhile, the majority of suitable, marginally suitable and not suitable land suitability classes are spread across Cibiru District and Ujungberung District. Then the high flood hazard zone dominates the eastern part of Bandung City. Meanwhile, low and medium flood hazard zones are spread across every district, with the majority being in Cibiru District and Ujungberung District. The results of the evaluation of residential land suitability for flood hazard zones show that there are three classes of land suitability, namely suitable (A), suitable (B), and not suitable. The appropriate land suitability class (B) dominates the eastern part of Bandung City. This means that the majority of settlements in the eastern part of Bandung City are suitable but have medium and high levels of flood hazard.
