Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pemanfaatan perencanaan komunikasi oleh MAFINDO dalam membangun kesadaran literasi digital di masyarakat Indonesia. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada teori strategic planning Ronald D. Smith dan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Wawancara semi terstruktur dilakukan dengan stakeholder yang relevan. Hasil penelitian bahwa berdasarkan konsep analisis, perencanaan, implementasi, dan evaluasi, pada konsep pertama di analisis, ada empat faktor teridentifikasi sebagai pemicu tingkat literasi digital yang belum baik saat ini di Indonesia, yaitu psikologi, sosial, ekonomi, dan politik. Pada tahap perencanaan, MAFINDO menerapkan strategi reaktif dan proaktif, termasuk program-program yang relevan. Pada tahap implementasi, MAFINDO memanfaatkan kanal media sosial untuk menyebarkan hasil cek fakta, konten organik, relawan, dan key opinion leader. Pada tahap evaluasi, MAFINDO menggunakan pre- test dan post-test. Hasil kampanye MAFINDO menunjukkan perkembangan, tetapi belum mencapai potensi maksimal karena jangkauan yang terbatas. This research focuses on the utilization of communication planning by MAFINDO in building digital literacy awareness in the Indonesian community. The study is based on Ronald D. Smith's strategic planning theory and employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with relevant stakeholders. The research findings indicate that based on the analysis of the concepts of analysis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, in the first concept analysis, four factors were identified as triggers for the currently inadequate level of digital literacy in Indonesia, namely psychological, social, economic, and political factors. In the planning stage, MAFINDO implements reactive and proactive strategies, including relevant programs. During the implementation phase, MAFINDO utilizes social media channels to disseminate fact-checking results, organic content, volunteers, and key opinion leaders. In the evaluation stage, MAFINDO employs pre-tests and post-tests. The results of MAFINDO's campaign show progress but have not yet reached their maximum potential due to limited reach.
