Abstract

Kotoran padat (feses) kelinci merupakan salah satu bahan organik yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan pembuatan pupuk organik cair (POC) yang bermanfaat bagi pertumbuhan tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi pupuk organik cair berbahan kotoran padat kelinci terhadap pertumbuhan vegetatif tanaman cabai merah (Capsicum annuum L.). Serangkaian pengamatan selama masa pertumbuhan vegetatif dilakukan, seperti pertambahan tinggi tanaman, pertambahan jumlah daun, biomassa tanaman, serta gangguan fisiologi yang timbul. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dan dibagi menjadi 6 perlakuan, setiap perlakuan terdiri dari empat kali pengulangan sehingga terdapat 24 satuan percobaan. Untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh dari masing-masing perlakuan, maka dilakukan analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan SPSS yaitu dengan uji normalitas dan dilanjut dengan uji one-way ANOVA dan uji non parametrik tes friedman. Hasil penelitian yang didapat bahwa POC kotoran padat kelinci memberi pengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan vegetatif cabai merah. Perlakuan POC kotoran padat kelinci konsentrasi 4,5% (P2) pada media tanam campuran arang sekam dengan cocopeat menghasilkan pertambahan tinggi tanaman terbaik jika dibandingkan dengan konsentrasi lainnya, dengan tinggi mancapai 8.5 cm dan jumlah daun mencapai 9.25 helai. Gangguan fisiologis yang menimpa tanaman cabai merah pada saat pertumbuhan vegetatifnya diantaranya adalah defisiensi unsur hara nitrogen, sulfur, dan kalsium. Persentase tanaman yang mengalami kekurangan unsur hara adalah sebesar 83.3%, kekurangan unsur hara sulfur 25%, dan kekurangan unsur hara kalsium 83.3%. Rabbit solid dirt (feces) is an organic material that can be used as an ingredient for making liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) which is beneficial for plant growth. This research aims to identify the potential of liquid organic fertilizer made from solid rabbit droppings on the vegetative growth of red chili plants (Capsicum annuum L.). A series of observations during the vegetative growth period were carried out, such as the increase in plant height, increase in the number of leaves, plant biomass, and physiological disorders that occurred. The research design used was a Completely Randomized Design(CRD) and was divided into 6 treatments, each treatment consisting of four repetitions so that there were 24 experimental units. To find out whether there was an influence from each treatment, quantitative data analysis was carried out using SPSS, namely the normality test and followed by the one-way ANOVA test and non-parametric Friedman test. The research results showed that POC solid rabbit dirt had an influence on the vegetative growth of red chilies. POC treatment of solid rabbit manure with a concentration of 4.5% (P2) on a planting medium mixed with husk charcoal and cocopeat resulted in the best increase in plant height when compared to other concentrations, with a height reaching 8.5 cm and the number of leaves reaching 9.25 pieces. Physiological disorders that affect red chili plants during vegetative growth include deficiencies in the nutrients nitrogen, sulfur and calcium. The percentage of plants experiencing nutrient deficiencies was 83.3%, 25% deficient in sulfur nutrients, and 83.3% deficient in calcium nutrients.
