Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah motivasi kerja karyawan di PT. Perdana Perkasa Elastindo (PERSAELS) Kota Bandung yang belum maksimal dengan kurangnya kedisiplinan karyawan dan masih adanya sikap acuh di dalam diri karyawan. Permasalahan ini harus diatasi, apabila tidak segera ditangani akan menghambat tujuan perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan populasi berjumlah 140 orang dan responden berjumlah 104 responden. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah koefisien korelasi pearson product moment dan analisis regresi berganda. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t-test untuk melihat pengaruh secara parsial. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kompetensi, pengembangan karier, dan motivasi berada para kategori sedang. Hasil perhitungan korelasi, variabel kompetensi dengan variabel motivasi memiliki nilai korelasi sebesar 0,309 artinya variabel kompetensi memilki hubungan yang positif dengan klasifikasi rendah. Sedangkan untuk variabel perkembangan karir dengan variabel motivasi memiliki nilai korelasi sebesar 0,734, artinya variabel perkembangan karier memiliki hubungan yang positif dengan klasifikasi kuat. Hasil perhitungan analisis regresi berganda didapat persamaan Y = 4,165 + 0,138X1 + 0,885X2 dan KD = 0,564 atau 56,4% artinya variabel kompetensi dan perkembangan karier mempengaruhi variabel motivasi sebesar 56,4%, sedangkan sisanya yaitu sebesar 43,6% variabel motivasi dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti. The problem in this research is employees’ work motivation who work at PT Perdana Perkasa Elastindo (PERSAELS) Bandung which is not reached maximum level because the lack of discipline and uncaring. This problem should be solved unless it will cause harm and make the company fail to reach its goal. This research is using descriptive and verification methods with populations are 140 people with total respondents are 104 people. Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient and double regression analysis are used as technical analysis. The examination of hypothesis is using T-Test to see the influence on a partial scale. The result of this research is showing competence, carrier development, and motivation are on the middle level. The result of correlation calculation is that competency variable and motivation variable are having 0,309 correlation value, which means competency variable is having positive relation with low classification. While, the carrier development variable and motivation variable are having 0,734 of correlation value, which means carrier development is having positive relation with strong classification. The result of multiple regression analysis calculation is Y = 4,165 + 0,138X1 + 0,885X2 and KD = 0,564 or 56,4%. It means that competency variable and carrier development influence motivation variable about 56,4%, while the rest 43,6% motivation variable is influenced by other factors which are not being research.
