Abstract

Penelitian ini mengungkap fenomena tuturan yang berpotensi tidak santun sebagai pelanggaran kesantunan berbahasa dengan menggunakan analisis Pragmatik. Kerangka analisis Pragmatik meliputi dua lapisan analisis: prinsip kesantunan dan tindakan mengancam wajah (face threatening act), digunakan untuk mengkaji sembilan sesi dari satu episode dalam acara Indonesia Lawyers Club yang berpotensi sebagai tuturan tidak santun. Tuturan yang berpotensi sebagai tuturan tidak santun merujuk pada perdebatan, cacian, hinaan dan merendahkan. Semua tuturan tersebut disesuaikan dengan tindakan mengancam wajah. Kesantunan berbahasa dari tuturan para politisi dan pengacara dalam acara ILC yang berpotensi sebagai tuturan tidak santun teridentifikasi melalui analisis terhadap penerapan Prinsip Kesantunan. Analisis ini menunjukkan bahwa tuturan dari para politisi dan pengacara dalam acara ILC, melanggar salah satu atau lebih dari Prinsip Kesantunan. Maksud tuturan yang disampaikan secara implisit dari tuturan para politisi dan pengacara dalam acara ILC menggambarkan kreativitas sekaligus strategi penutur dalam mengemas tuturannya. Oleh karena itu, prinsip kesantunan dihadirkan untuk mengungkap maksud dari tuturan tersebut. Pelanggaran terhadap salah satu atau lebih dari prinsip kesantunan merupakan bentuk kesalahan dalam berbahasa. Berangkat dari pelanggaran tersebutlah tuturan yang disampaikan tergolong santun atau tidak santun. Tindakan mengancam muka atau face threatening act diperlukan oleh peneliti dalam upaya mengungkap fenomena kesantunan berbahasa para politisi dan pengacara dalam acara ILC. Tuturan yang diucapkan dapat teridentifikasi mengancam wajah positif (positive face) dan wajah negatif (negative face) melalui analisis ini. Dalam proses menyimpulkan, peneliti perlu menghubungkan tuturan dengan konteks dan koteks dari tuturan tersebut. Hasil analisis menunjukkan, tuturan para politisi dan pengacara dalam acara Indonesia Lawyers Club di TV One cenderung melanggar prinsip kesantunan maksim bijaksana dan maksim penghargaan hingga dapat dikategorikan tidak santun. Hal ini dilandasi dari analisis terhadap konteks dan koteks tuturan tersebut. The research revealed a potentially phenomenon politeness speech as a violation of politeness by using analysis of Pragmatics. Pragmatic analysis framework included two layers of analysis: politeness principle and face threatening act are used to assess the nine sessions of one episode in the Indonesia Lawyers Club of potentially not polite speech. Speech is potentially not as polite speech referring to the debate, insults, humiliation and degrading. All speech is adapted to a face threatening act. Politeness of utterances of politicians and lawyers in the event that the potential ILC as polite speech is not identified through an analysis of the application of the politeness principle. This analysis showed the utterances of politicians and lawyers in the event. The ILC violated one or more of the politeness principle. Intent implicit speech delivered from the speech of politicians and lawyers in the event described creativity as well ILC strategy in packaging speech speakers. Therefore, the politeness principle presented to reveal the purpose of the speech. Violation of any one or more of the politeness principle is a form of error in speaking. Departing from the speech delivered mentioning violations classified as polite or not polite. Face threatening act required by researchers in an attempt to uncover the phenomenon of linguistic politeness politicians and lawyers in the ILC event. Spoken utterances can be identified threaten positive face and negative face through this analysis. In the process concluded, researchers needed to connect utterances with contexts and contexts of the utterances. The analysis showed, utterances of politicians and lawyers in Indonesia Lawyers Club event on TV One attended to violate the principle of wise maxims and politeness maxims awards to be categorized not polite. It is based on an analysis of the context and the speech contexts.
