Abstract
Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kondisi bisnis, mengidentifikasi strategi bersaing, dan memformulasi strategi bersaing pada bisnis startup “Online Tasik Selatan”. Objek penelitian ini yaitu bisnis startup “Online Tasik Selatan” yang berada di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, Jawa Barat. Partisipan yang dilibatkan pada penelitian yaitu pendiri bisnis startup “Online Tasik Selatan” sekaligus CEO pada bisnis startup ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan variabel tunggal yaitu strategi bersaing, untuk menganalisis strategi bersaing bisnis startup “Online Tasik Selatan” menggunakan model analisis Porter’s Five Forces. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Alat pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya tingkat ancaman sedang dari ancaman pendatang baru, tingkat ancaman tinggi dari pesaing yang ada, tingkat ancaman sedang dari produk pengganti, tingkat ancaman tinggi dari daya tawar pembeli, dan tingkat ancaman rendah dari daya tawar pemasok. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman lebih kepada startup terkait mengenai ancaman persaingan dan strategi untuk menghadapi persaingan The purpose of this studied was to determine business conditions, identified competitive strategies, and formulate competitive strategies in the “Online Tasik Selatan”startup business. The objected of this researched was “Online Tasik Selatan”startup business located in TasikmalayaRegency, West Java. The participant involved in the researched is the founder of Online Tasik Selatan startup business as well as the CEO of this startup business. This research used a single variable, namely competitive strategy, to analyze the competitive strategy of “Online Tasik Selatan”start-up business used Porter's Five Forced analysis model. The research method used is a qualitative method with a case studied approached. Data collection tools was observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The results of this study indicate a moderate threat leveled from the threat of new entrants, a high threat leveled from existed competitors, a moderate threat levelled from substitute products, a high threat levelled from buyer bargained power, and a low threat level from supplier bargained power. This research provided more understood to related startups regarding competitive threats and strategies to deal with competition.
