Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara yang memiliki komitmen besar membentangi anak dari kekerasan. Berbagai regulasi yang ada, nyatanya belum bisa menekan angka kekerasan yang terjadi pada anak termasuk kekerasan bullying. Adapun di luar negeri ada beberapa peneliti yang sudah berusaha mengembangkan instrumen deteksi perilaku bullying, begitupun di Indonesia sudah ada yang berusaha mengembangkan instrumen tersebut. Tetapi sayangnya instrumen tersebut masih memiliki keterbatasan seperti tidak spesifik untuk anak usia dini dan sulitnya diakses oleh masyarakat umum. Sehingga tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan instrumen deteksi perilaku bullying untuk anak usia dini dengan rincian memaparkan : (1) proses dan hasil analisis konteks dan kebutuhan (fase pendahuluan); (2) proses dan hasil perancangan petunjuk desain (fase pengembangan); dan (3) proses dan hasil fase penilaian instrumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Educational Design Research (EDR) dengan modal Plomp. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) instrumen deteksi perilaku bullying untuk anak usia dini berdasarkan studi literatur, observasi, catatan anekdot perilaku anak, serta wawancara dengan guru dan orang tua, menunjukkan bahwa instrumen ini sangat penting untuk memastikan kesejahteraan anak, memahami dampak bullying, mengakui kompleksitasnya, serta melibatkan kolaborasi stakeholder; (2) instrumen deteksi perilaku bullying ini valid dan reliabel untuk anak usia dini. Instrumen ini mencakup indikator-indikator perilaku yang dapat dijadikan acuan bagi guru dan orang tua dalam mengenali tanda-tanda awal bullying pada anak; (3) Dari uji coba, beberapa anak menunjukkan indikasi sebagai pelaku bullying, korban bullying, asisten pelaku, dan pembela korban. Indonesia is a country with a strong commitment to protecting children from violence. Despite various existing regulations, the incidence of violence, including bullying, against children remains a challenge. While some researchers abroad have attempted to develop bullying detection instruments, similar efforts have also been made in Indonesia. However, these instruments still have limitations, such as not being specific to young children and difficult accessibility for the general public. Hence, the primary aim of this research is to develop a bullying detection instrument for young children, detailing the process and outcomes of (1) context and needs analysis (preliminary phase); (2) design guideline development (development phase); and (3) instrument assessment process and outcomes. This study utilizes the Educational Design Research (EDR) method with Plomp's model. The results indicate that (1) the bullying detection instrument for young children, based on literature study, observations, anecdotal records of children's behaviors, and interviews with teachers and parents, is crucial to ensuring children's well-being, understanding the impact of bullying, recognizing its complexity, and involving various stakeholders; (2) the bullying detection instrument is valid and reliable for young children. It encompasses behavioral indicators that can serve as references for teachers and parents in recognizing early signs of bullying in children; (3) From the trial, some children exhibited indications as bullying perpetrators, victims, assistant perpetrators, and defenders of victims.
