Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the benefits of Using Motivational Self-Talk Learning Strategies in Physical Education. The method used in this study was quantitative descriptive with a population of university badminton coaches and a sample of 5 badminton sme coaches. The instruments used in this study were Expert Judgement panel and Workshop. The workshop process is measured by the percentage of participant involvement during the workshop Based on Aiken's V formula analysis, it shows a content validity coefficient index (ICVC) between 0.65-0.90. ICVC for overall engagement of 0.79; Responsibility (0.90); Self-reliance (0.85); Honesty (0.80); Work Performance (0.65); innovation and creative activity (0.75); Communication (0.85) and cooperation (0.70). This study resulted in the conclusion that ST-Motivational can functionally be used and incorporated into the Exercise process. Before incorporation is carried out, each trainer must understand and determine the applicable concept of ST-Motivational. Each use of ST cues, is related to the question of what, where, when and why such ST cues should be implemented in the learning of motion skills as recommended.
