Abstract
Dance art lessons in elementary schools are not to teach students to become skilled dancers, but to develop students' cognitive, affective and psychomotor abilities and play a role in introducing Indonesian culture. So that it is the same as other lessons, dance lessons also need media assistance so that students are interested and feel comfortable in dance lessons. The purpose of this research is to develop a medium for dance lessons and to test the feasibility of the developed media. This study uses the ADDIE method with five research stages, namely (1) analyze, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, (5) evaluation. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, documentation studies, expert judgment, and student and teacher response questionnaires. The results of this development research obtained flashcard media for learning dance in class V elementary school by containing the results of the assessment of three experts namely material experts, media and documentation experts and design experts who stated that this media was 'very appropriate' to be used for dance lessons in class V elementary schools. This was corroborated by the results of student responses as many as 33 students out of 35 students responded 'yes' to 9 questionnaire statements and obtained a percentage of 100% of the teacher's questionnaire assessment with the predicate 'very decent'. Thus, proving that the media developed is 'very appropriate' to be used in dance lessons.
