Abstract

Twitter is a web 2.0 microblogging service. One form is using twitter to share information, especially information about traffic congestion. Twitter hashtag feature provides a means to find specific information. #Lalinbdg hashtag is commonly used for sharing information about Bandung city traffic. The amount of data that contain “lalinbdg” can be processed and managed more relevant information. Lalinbdg data retrieval performed daily every thirty minutes. The data collected, downloaded and converted into a text file. Existing data in the file are then cleared from the data that is not appropriate. After the cleaning process is complete the data and then integrated with the data path and congestion keyword. Keyword data congestion of roads and the results obtained from analysis of data and a list of existing roads. The data has been integrated converted into a form that can be read by XML visualization tools. Traffic visualization using maps allows users to see immediately the location and circumstances of the site. Users are also easier to specify information than reading the data one by one.
