Abstract

Verena Patrin Lamtama Putri Sihotang (1908801), Hubungan Persepsi Pola

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan Persepsi Pola Asuh Otoriter
Dengan Peran Gender Pada Perempuan Suku Batak Subjek pada penelitian ini
merupakan Perempuan Suku Batak dengan usia 18-25 dengan jumlah partisipan
(N=410). Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah probability sampling rumus
penentuan jumlah sampel minimal menggunakan tabel Isaac dan Michael.
Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur Persepsi Pola Asuh dan Peran Gender.
Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan secara online dengan menyebarkan link
kuesioner di beberapa platform media sosial. Analisis data menggunakan uji
Spearman Rho dengan menggunakan bantuan software SPSS versi 22.0 for
windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan
(α = 0.05) antara persepsi pola asuh otoriter dan peran gender koefisien korelasi
untuk kedua variabel sebesar 0,629 yang artinya berkorelasi secara positif. Jika
persepsi pola asuh otoriter berada pada kategori tinggi, peran gender netral juga
berada pada kategori tinggi, begitu pula sebaliknya dan pola asuh adalah salah satu
faktor yang mempengaruhi Peran Gender. Gender terbentuk dari pembiasan hasil
dari pengamatan dan peniruan pola perilaku yang terbentuk sejak dini , dan peran
orang tua terhadap perkembangan gender adalah awal yang penting dalam suatu
komunitas karena merupakan lingkup terkecil dan terdekat dalam suatu hubungan
interpersonal. Peran ini akan menjadi pola yang membentuk karakter sebuah
individu terhadap perkembangan gendernya.

This study aims to determine the relationship between perceptions of authoritarian
parenting and gender roles in Batak women. The subjects in this study were Batak
women aged 18-25 with the number of participants (N=410). The sampling
technique used is the probability sampling formula for determining the minimum
number of samples using the tables of Isaac and Michael. The instrument used to
measure Parenting Perceptions and Gender Roles. The data collection process was
carried out online by distributing questionnaire links on several social media
platforms. Data analysis used the Spearman Rho test with the help of SPSS software
version 22.0 for windows. The results of the study show that there is a significant
relationship (α = 0.05) between perceptions of authoritarian parenting and gender
roles. The correlation coefficient for both variables is 0.629, which means that it is
positively correlated. If the perception of authoritharian parenting is in the high
category, neutral gender roles are also in the high category, and vice versa and
parenting is one of the factors that influence Gender Roles. Gender is formed from
the results of refraction from observing and imitating behavior patterns that are
formed early on, and the role of parents in gender development is an important
start in a community because it is the smallest and closest scope in an interpersonal
relationship. This role will be a pattern that forms the character of an individual
towards his gender development.
