Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran efektifitas penempatan pegawai, gambaran tingkat motivasi kerja pegawai, adakah pengaruh penempatan pegawai terhadap msotivasi kerja pegawai bagian Sumber Daya Manusia dan Umum di PT. KAI (Persero) Bandung. Variabel yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah penempatan pegawai dan motivasi kerja pegawai. Indikator yang digunakan untuk variabel penempatan pegawai adalah indikator kemampuan, kecakapan, dan keahlian. Sedangkan indikator untuk variabel motivasi kerja pegawai adalah kebutuhan akan prestasi, kekuasaan, dan afiliasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode explanatory survey, teknik pengumpulan datanya dengan cara penyebaran angket. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket model Skala Likert. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi. Anggota populasinya berjumlah 45 orang pegawai bagian Sumber Daya Manusia dan Umum di PT. KAI (Persero) Bandung. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penempatan pegawai berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai bagian Sumber Daya Manusia dan Umum di PT. KAI (Persero) Bandung. Dalam variabel penempatan pegawai jawaban responden mengenai indikator Kecakapan memiliki skor tertinggi sedangkan indikator Kemampuan memiliki skor terendah. Dan dalam variabel motivasi kerja jawaban responden mengenai indikator Kebutuhan akan Prestasi memiliki skor tertinggi sedangkan indikator Kebutuhan akan Afiliasi memiliki skor terendah. Upaya untuk mengatasi indikator terendah organisasi harus tetap memperhatikan penempatan pegawai yang dilakukan kepada para pegawainya apakah sudah sesuai atau tidak karena hal ini sangat mempengaruhi motivasi kerja pegawai, dan para pegawai disarankan agar dapat berhubungan dengan baik bersama rekan kerja dan memiliki rasa senang dalam memberikan bantuan terhadap sesama rekan kerjanya This research aims to know a description the effectiveness placement of employees, descriptions of the level employee motivation, is there any influence placement of employees on employee motivation of the human resources section and a general in the PT. KAI (Persero) of Bandung. Variable subjects in this research is placement of employees and employee motivation. The indicator variable is used placement of employees is ability, prowess, and skil. While the indicators for employee motivation variables are need to achievement, power, and affiliation. Explanatory survey was applied in this study by using questionnaire distribution as the data collection. The instrument used was Likert scale models. The data analysis technique used is a simple regression analysis. Members of a population were 45 employee people on the part of Human Resources and General in PT. KAI (Persero) Bandung . Based on the data obtained in the study results showed that the positive effect placement of employees on the employee motivation of the human resources section and a general in the PT. KAI (Persero) of Bandung. In the variable placement of employees answers of respondents regarding the indicators of achievement have the highest score while the indicator of the ability to have the lowest score. And employee motivation in a variable answers of respondents regarding the need for indicators of achievement to have the highest score while the indicator of the need for Affiliation to have the lowest score. Efforts to overcome the lowest indicators of the Organization must consider placement of employee is done to this servants it is appropriate or not because it greatly affect employee motivation, and employees can relate well with partner and have pleasure in providing the aid with partner because it can grow a comfortable in working so that employee motivation will be increased.
