Abstract

This research was set up by less interesting, less innovative, and less practical media used because of teacher limitations in making learning media use of existing technologies, making the learning atmosphere less enjoyable. Based on a preliminary study conducted on 39 students of XI TKRO 4 shows that there are still many students who have not met the minimum school eligibility criteria in the PKKR subject test results of charging system materials. One of the efforts made to solve the problem is the implementation of learning media based on android applications. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out the improvement of students' learning outcomes at SMK Negeri 2 Garut before and after using the learning medium of the charging system. The method in this study used a quantitative approach with the Pre Experimental Design method and its research design using the One Group Pretest Posttest. The results of the study showed an increase in students' learning outcomes with a pretest average of 31.9 and a posttest of 75.95, then demonstrated by the results of the paired sample test which had been conducted showed that the significance was 0.000. So it can be concluded that there is a significant improvement in learning outcomes in students of SMK Negeri 2 Garut by implementing learning media based on android system IC charging regulators.
