Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya penurunan kunjungan wisatawan di Candi Gedong Songo. Oleh karena itu memahami motivasi wisatawan menjadi langkah yang diambil karena dapat memberikan pengetahuan mengenai keinginan dan kebutuhan wisatawan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor motivasi wisatawan Generasi Z yang mengunjungi wisata heritage di Candi Gedong Songo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif sebagai pendekatannya. Sampel yang digunakan adalah sebanyak 200 responden Generasi Z yang telah berkunjung ke Candi Gedong Songo. Data diambil menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan secara luring dan daring. Kemudian analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis faktor. Hasil analisis menunjukan sembilan faktor baru, diantaranya Faktor Self Recovery, Faktor Novelty, Faktor Cultural Exploration, Faktor Looking for Social Interaction, Faktor Beautiful Landscape, Faktor Promotion, Faktor Facility, Faktor Ease of Accessibility dan Faktor Safety. Dengan demikian, untuk dapat meningkatkan tingkan kunjungan wisatawan diharapkan pengelola Candi Gedong Songo memperhatikan motivasi apa saja yang ada pada wisatawan. This research was initiated in response to a decline in tourist visits to the Gedong Songo Temple. Consequently, the exploration of tourist motivations became essential as it could offer insights into the desires and requirements of tourists. The primary objective of this study is to examine the motivational factors influencing Generation Z tourists who choose to visit the Gedong Songo Temple for heritage tourism. The research employs a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The sample consists of 200 Generation Z respondents who have previously visited the Gedong Songo Temple. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires, both offline and online, and subsequently analyzed using factor analysis. The analysis results reveal the existence of nine distinct factors, namely: Self-Recovery Factor, Novelty Factor, Cultural Exploration Factor, Seeking Social Interaction Factor, Scenic Beauty Factor, Promotional Factor, Facility Factor, Ease of Accessibility Factor, and Safety Factor. Consequently, to boost tourist visitation rates, it is imperative for the management of Gedong Songo Temple to take into account these identified tourist motivations.
