Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menguji pengaruh persepsi penerimaan penolakan orang tua terhadap perilaku prososial yang dimediasi oleh hubungan anatarsaudara pada remaja di Kota Bandung. Responden (N=391) adalah remaja berusia 11-18 tahun di Kota Bandung yang mengisi kuesioner yang telah diadaptasi ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia, yaitu The Lifespan Sibling Realtionship Scale (LSRS) untuk bagian hubungan antarsaudara dengan reliabilitas 0,978, dan penyusunan instrumen yang disusun oleh peneliti yaitu Parental Acceptance Rejection (PARQ) untuk bagian penerimaan penolakan orangtua dengan reliabilitas 0,921, dan Prosocial Behavior Scale (PBS) for Adolescence untuk bagian perilaku prososial dengan reliabilitas 0,729. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik accidental sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis mediasi dengan Metode Kausalitas Baron & Kenny dan Sobel Test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat lebih banyak partisipan yang memiliki skor perilaku prososial sedang, hal tersebut diikuti oleh skor penerimaan-penolakan yang rendah dan hubungan antarsaudara yang berada pada kategori sedang. Hal ini bermakna bahwa semakin tingginya penerimaan orangtua dan hubungan antarsaudara akan berpengaruh pada semakin tingginya perilaku prososial pada remaja. The Effect of Perception Parental Acceptance Rejection on Prosocial Behavior Mediated by Adolescence Sibling Relationship in Bandung City. Undergraduated Thesis. This study was conducted with the aim of examining the effect of the perceptions of parental acceptance rejection on prosocial behavior mediated by adolescence sibling relationship in the city of Bandung. Respondents (N=391) were adolescence aged 11-18 years who filled out a questionnaire that had been adapted into Indonesian, namely The Lifespan Sibling Realtionship Scale (LSRS) for the quality of sibling relationship with a reliability of 0,978, and for preparation of instruments compiled by researchers namely Parental-Acceptance Rejection (PARQ) for the parental acceptance rejection with a reliability of 0.921, and the Prosocial Behavior Scale (PBS) Adolescence for the prosocial behavior with a reliability of 0.729. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is the mediation analysis technique with the Baron & Kenny Causality Method and the Sobel Test. The results of this study indicate that there are more participants who have moderate scores of prosocial behavior, this is followed by low scores of parental acceptance-rejection and sibling relationships that are in the moderate scores. This means that the higher the acceptance of parents and relations between siblings will affect the higher prosocial behavior in adolescents.
