Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi strategi komunikasi pemasaran SM Entertainment Indonesia dalam memasarkan Kpop di pasar Indonesia. Fokus penelitian ditujukan pada tahap perencanaan dan implementasi dari strategi komunikasi pemasaran SM Entertainment Indonesia. SM Entertainment merupakan perusahaan hiburan korea dan pionir dari terciptanya Kpop. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis dokumen Bowen dan analisis data model Braun and Clarke's. Hasil penelitian menunjukan SM Entertainment Indonesia sebagai kantor perwakilan saat ini memfokuskan pemasarannya pada empat fokus utama yaitu Konser, Co-marketing, Social Media Marketing, dan pemanfaatan Media Lokal. Sedangkan SM Entertainment sendiri memiliki target jangka pendek, menengah, dan panjang terhadap pasar Indonesia. Kata Kunci : Komunikasi Pemasaran, Kpop, SM Entertainment, Analisis Dokumen, IMC ABSTRACT This study aims to identify SM Entertainment Indonesia's marketing communication strategy in marketing K-pop in Indonesian market. The research focus is on the planning and implementation stages of SM Entertainment Indonesia's marketing communications strategy. SM Entertainment is a Korean entertainment company and a pioneer of K-pop. This study used a qualitative approach using Bowen's document analysis method and Braun and Clarke's data analysis model. The results of the research show that SM Entertainment Indonesia as a representative office is currently focusing its marketing on four main focuses, namely Concerts, Co-marketing, Social Media Marketing, and utilization of Local Media. Meanwhile, SM Entertainment itself has short, medium and long term targets for the Indonesian market. Keywords : Marketing Communication, Kpop, SM Entertainment, Document Analysis, IMC
