Abstract

Health maintenance is very important to do. The more maintained health is shown by the better one's physical fitness. Physical fitness will support in carrying out daily activities. The increase in physical fitness can be improved through sports or routine activities. Based on this description, it is known that physical fitness is very important for anyone, especially for an athlete and elementary school student. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, the population of this study is the fifth grade students at SDN V Panca Jaya, totaling 32 students. TKJI instruments aged 10-12 years were used in data collection. The physical fitness level of Class V students at SDN 4 Panca Jaya, Mesuji Regency, is mostly in the Moderate category, 15 students (46.87%), the Less category, 11 students (34.37%), the Good category, 5 students (15.62%) ), category Very Poor 1 student (3.12%), and no one is in the category Very Good. Thus it can be concluded that the level of physical fitness of Class V students at SDN 4 Panca Jaya, Mesuji Regency is moderate.
