Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah kinerja karyawan yang bekerja di Cikarang Selatan. Menjadi salah satu pusat pertumbuhan wilayah, membuat Cikarang Selatan mengalami peningkatan pembangunan pada bidang industri dan juga peningkatan tenaga kerja bagi tiap perusahaan. Peningkatan tenaga kerja ini terkadang tidak diimbangi dengan peraturan perusahaan yang sesuai, sehingga banyak dari tenaga kerja yang kinerja turun. Turunnya kinerja ini ditakutkan akan berdampak pada perusahaan dan alangkah baiknya jika perusahaan bisa mengatasi turunnya kinerja tenaga kerja mereka. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang bisa digunakan untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan, salah duanya yang menarik perhatian peneliti adalah work-life balance dan lingkungan kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran work-life balance, lingkungan kerja, dan kinerja karyawan di Cikarang Selatan dan juga mengetahui pengaruh work-life balance terhadap kinerja karyawan, pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan pengaruh work-life balance dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di Cikarang Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 399 karyawan yang saat ini bekerja di Cikarang Selatan. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah koefisien korelasi pearson product moment dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Uji F dan Uji t. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan work-life balance dan lingkungan kerja secara bersama-sama atau silmultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Secara parsial, work-life balance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. This research is motivated by the performance problems of employees working in South Cikarang. Being one of the regional growth centers, South Cikarang has experienced increased development in the industrial sector and also an increase in the workforce for each company. This increase in workforce is sometimes not matched by appropriate company regulations, so that many of the workforce's performance decreases. It is feared that this decline in performance will have an impact on the company and it would be nice if the company could overcome the decline in the performance of their workforce. There are several factors that can be used to improve employee performance, one of which has attracted the attention of researchers is work-life balance and work environment. The purpose of this study was to describe the work-life balance, work environment, and employee performance in South Cikarang and also to determine the effect of work-life balance on employee performance, the effect of the work environment on employee performance, and the effect of work-life balance and work environment on employee performance in South Cikarang. This study uses descriptive and verification analysis methods with a total sample of 399 employees currently working in South Cikarang. The analysis technique used is Pearson product moment correlation coefficient and multiple linear regression analysis. Hypothesis testing using the F-test and t-test. The results of the study show that work-life balance and work environment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Partially, work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
