Abstract
Keterampilan menulis puisi justru sangat penting untuk dipelajari serta dikuasai oleh setiap peserta didik. Sementara itu, banyak peserta didik yang mengalami kesulitan dalam menulis puisi. Salah satu faktor kelemahan peserta didik dalam menulis puisi disebabkan, sulitnya peserta didik untuk mengekspresikan ide atau gagasan dengan menggunakan gaya bahasa yang sesuai dan pemilihan diksi yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengujicobakan penerapan model Student Team Achievement Division berbantu media gambar fotografi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X SMAN 15 Bandung. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X-5 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan peserta didik kelas X-9 sebagai kelompok kontrol yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi dan tes kemampuan. Berdasarkan hasil uji hopotesis menggunakan SPSS, diketahui nilai signifikansi 0,001 < 0,05. Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan menulis puisi peserta didik kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model Student Team Achievement Division berbantu media gambar fotografi dengan peserta didik yang menggunakan pembelajaran terlangsung di kelas kontrol. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Student Team Achievement Division berbantu media gambar fotografi dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi terbukti efektif. Kata kunci: kemampuan menulis, Student Team Achievement Division (STAD), puisi Poetry writing skills are actually very important to be learned and mastered by every student. Meanwhile, many students experience difficulties in writing poetry. One of the weaknesses of students in writing poetry is due to the difficulty of students in expressing ideas or ideas by using appropriate language styles and choosing the right diction. This study aims to test the application of the Student Team Achievement Division model assisted by photographic image media. The method used in this study was a quasi-experimental research design with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study were students of class X SMAN 15 Bandung. The sample used in this study were students in class X-5 as the experimental group and students in class X-9 as the control group which were determined using a convenience sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study were observation and ability tests. Based on the results of the hypothesis test using SPSS, it is known that the significance value is 0.001 <0.05. This shows that there is a significant difference between the ability to write poetry in experimental class students who use the Student Team Achievement Division model assisted by photographic image media and students who use direct learning in the control class.
