Abstract
Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena kurang optimalnya kemampuan dalam kesuksesan karier yang dimiliki oleh peserta didik serta tuntutan salah satu dari sembilan tujuan perkembangan peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian adalah memperoleh profil mengenai kesuksesan karier peserta didik. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian yaitu populasi peserta didik kelas XII di SMA Pasundan 8 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024 yang berjumlah 126 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesuksesan karier peserta didik di SMA Pasundan 8 Bandung yaitu sebagian besar termasuk pada kategori cukup sukses. Berdasarkan kondisi kesuksesan karier yang diperoleh maka disusun bimbingan karier yang terdiri dari: rasional, dasar hukum, visi dan misi, deskripsi kebutuhan, tujuan, komponen program, bidang layanan, rencana kegiatan, pengembangan tema, evaluasi, sarana dan prasarana, serta anggaran biaya. Rekomendasi penelitian ditujukan kepada pihak sekolah, guru bimbingan dan konseling, serta peneliti selanjutnya. The research is motivated by the phenomenon of suboptimal abilities in career success owned by students and the demands of one of the nine goals of student development. The aim of the research is to obtain a profile of students' career success. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The research subject was the population of class XII students at SMA Pasundan 8 Bandung in the Academic Year 2023/2024, totaling 126 students. The results of the research show that the career success of students at SMA Pasundan 8 Bandung is that the majority fall into the quite successful category. Based on the conditions for career success obtained, a career guidance service program is prepared which consists of: rationale, legal basis, vision and mission, description of needs, objectives, program components, service areas, activity plans, theme development, evaluation, facilities and infrastructure, and budget cost. Research recommendations are addressed to the school, guidance and counseling teachers, and future researchers.
