Abstract

Keterampilan komunikasi sosial merupakan kompetensi yang harus dimiliki mahasiswa agar mampu untuk beradaptasi dengan lingkungan sosial yang baru dan lebih mudah menjalin hubungan dengan individu lain. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan program MBKM kampus mengajar dengan keterampilan komunikasi sosial mahasiswa. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian teknik korelasional. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 9 mahasiswa prodi pendidikan kepelatihan olahraga yang telah mengikuti program MBKM kampus mengajar. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket atau kuesioner. Data diolah menggunakan uji korelasi product moment pada aplikasi SPSS 23 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara program MBKM kampus mengajar dengan keterampilan komunikasi sosial mahasiswa prodi pendidikan kepelatihan olahraga. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa program MBKM kampus mengajar dapat mempengaruhi keterampilan komunikasi sosial mahasiswa prodi pendidikan kepelatihan olahraga. Social communication skills are essential competencies that students must possess in order to adapt to new social environments and establish better relationships with others. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine the existence of a relationship between a MBKM kampus mengajar program and the social communication skills of students. This study utilized a quantitative descriptive method with a correlational research design. The sample consisted of 9 students from the Sports Education Coaching Department who had participated in the MBKM kampus mengajar program. A questionnaire was used as the instrument for data collection. The data was processed using a product moment correlation test in SPSS 23 for Windows. The research results indicate a strong correlation between MBKM kampus mengajar program and the social communication skills of students majoring in sports coaching education. Therefore, it can be concluded that MBKM kampus mengajar program can influence the social communication skills of students majoring in sports coaching education.
