Abstract

Sanggar Seni Rarasantang Arum Bandung merupakan tempat untuk mempelajari kesenian tradisional seperti tari tradisional, musik tradisional, dan wayang golek yang terletak di Kabupaten Cirebon, Provinsi Jawa Barat. Permasalahan yang ditemukan adalah terkait dengan penurunan grafik anggota Sanggar Seni Rarasantang Arum Bandung yang terus menurun akibat pandemic yang terjadi awal tahun 2020. Sanggar ini merasa perlu untuk membuat sebuah media promosi untuk dapat mengembalikan kondisi dan mengaktifkan kembali kegiatan sanggar seperti sebelum pandemi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang video promosi Sanggar Seni Rarasantang Arum Bandung untuk memperkenalkan kesenian yang ada di sanggar tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Practice Led Research yang dimana akan berfokus pada perancangan atau penciptaan karya yang terdiri dari 4 tahapan di antaranya, tahap persiapan; lalu tahap mengimajinasi; tahap pengembangan imajinasi; tahap pengerjaan; dan hasil karya yang terbagi menjadi distribusi dan apresiasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terciptanya video promosi Sanggar Seni Rarasantang Arum Bandung yang didistribusikan melalui channel youtube Sanggar Seni Rarasantang Arum Bandung yang kemudian mendapatkan apresiasi dari masyarakat berupa like sebanyak 169 dan komentar sebanyak 57 dengan penonton berjumlah 914. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah video promosi Pengenalan Sanggar Seni Rarasantang Arum Bandung ini berhasil memperkenalkan juga menyampaikan informasi kepada masyarakat. ---------- Rarasantang Arum Bandung is a place to study traditional arts such as traditional dance, music, and wayang golek. It is located in Cirebon Regency, West Java. The problem found was related to the decline in the graph of the members of the Rarasantang Arum Bandung Art Studio, which continued to decline due to the pandemic that occurred in early 2020. This studio felt the need to create a promotional medium to be able to restore conditions and reactivate the studio's activities as before the pandemic. The purpose of this study was to design a promotional video for the Rarasantang Arum Bandung to introduce the arts in the studio. The method used is practice-led research, which focus on designing or creating works consisting of four stages: the preparation stage; the imagination stage; the imagination development stage; the processing stage; and the works, which are divided into distribution and appreciation. The result of this study was the creation of a promotional video for the Rarasantang Arum Bandung Art Studio, which was distributed through the Rarasantang Arum Bandung Bandung YouTube channel and later received appreciation from the public in the form of 169 likes and 57 comments from 914 viewers. The conclusion of this research is the promotional video Introduction to the Studio. The art of Rarasantang Arum Bandung succeeded in introducing and conveying information to the public.
