Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya diangkat mengenai nasionalisme masa awal kemerdekaan hingga revolusi nasional Indonesia. Setelah kemerdekaan, NICA dan sekutu datang ke Indonesia dan bertujuan untuk kembali menancapkan tonggak kekuasaannya. Bangsa Indonesia melihat hal tersebut sebagai ancaman kedaulatan, maka timbullah perlawanan di berbagai daerah khususnya Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan eksistensi dan kontribusi RRI Bandung untuk Indonesia, khususnya Bandung pada masa awal kemerdekaan hingga revolusi (1945—1949). Penelitian ini direalisasikan karena minimnya historiografi Indonesia pada periode tersebut, khususnya yang menghubungkannya dengan sejarah perkembangan radio. Fokus masalah yang diangkat pada penelitian ini yakni bagaimana eksistensi dan kontribusi RRI Bandung masa awal kemerdekaan hingga revolusi. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai bagaimana sejarah pendirian RRI Bandung, eksistensi RRI Bandung periode awal kemerdekaan hingga revolusi, serta kontribusi RRI Bandung masa awal kemerdekaan hingga revolusi. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metodologi sejarah dengan tahap heuristik, kritik sumber (eksternal dan internal), interpretasi, dan historiografi. Selanjutnya dihasilkan temuan bahwa terdapat kontribusi RRI Bandung bagi Indonesia masa awal kemerdekaan hingga revolusi. Diketahui bahwa pertama, pendirian RRI di Bandung dilatarbelakangi aspek historisnya di mana Bandung merupakan salah satu tempat kelahiran RRI. Kedua, eksistensi RRI Bandung dibutkikan melalui siaran-siarannya sekalipun situasi Bandung tengah memanas akibat konflik. Ketiga, kontribusi RRI Bandung pada periode ini dapat dilihat dari keberpihakannya pada Republik dalam penyelenggaraan sarana informasi, komunikasi, dan hiburan, serta siaran mengenai situasi dan kondisi terkini negara Indonesia yang dapat didengar hingga ke mancanegara. RRI Bandung terus menyatakan keberpihakannya terhadap Indonesia hingga tahun 1949, ketika kedaulatan Indonesia diakui oleh Belanda. This research is motivated by the importance of raising nationalism from the early independence period to the Indonesian National Revolution. After independence, NICA and its allies came to Indonesia to reestablish their power. The Indonesian people saw this as a threat to their sovereignty, so there was resistance in various regions, especially in Bandung. This research aims to explain the existence and contribution of RRI Bandung to Indonesia, especially Bandung during the early independence period until the revolution (1945-1949). This research was realized because of the lack of Indonesian historiography in this period, especially those that connect it with the history of radio development. The focus of the problem raised in this research is how the existence and contribution of RRI Bandung during the early days of independence until the revolution. This research discusses the history of the establishment of RRI Bandung, the existence of RRI Bandung in the early period of independence until the revolution, and the contribution of RRI Bandung in the early period of independence until the revolution. This research used historical methodology with the stages of heuristics, source criticism (external and internal), interpretation, and historiography. The findings showed that there was a contribution of RRI Bandung to Indonesia during the early independence period until the revolution. It is known that first, the establishment of RRI in Bandung was motivated by its historical aspect where Bandung is one of the birthplaces of RRI. Second, the existence of RRI Bandung was proven by its broadcasts even though the situation in Bandung was heating up due to the conflict. Third, RRI Bandung's contribution during this period can be seen in its alignment with the Republic in organizing information, communication, and entertainment facilities, as well as broadcasts about the current situation and conditions of the Indonesian state that could be heard abroad. RRI Bandung continued to express its support for Indonesia until 1949, when Indonesian sovereignty was recognized by the Netherlands.
