Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh likuiditas dan aktivitas terhadap financial distress. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu subsektor transportasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2017-2022. Metode pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Dari metode tersebut diperoleh 16 perusahaan yang memenuhi kriteria sebagai sampel penelitian. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang dikumpulkan dengan teknik dokumentasi. Dalam menganalisis data, penelitian ini menggunakan pengujian statistik regresi data panel dan uji hipotesis untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen dengan level 5%. Dari hasil pengujian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini diketahui secara simultan variabel independen likuiditas dan aktivitas terhadap variabel dependen financial distress. Sedangkan dalam pengujian secara parsial, likuiditas dan aktivitas berpengaruh negatif terhadap financial distress. Nilai Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,413, hal ini berarti besarnya pengaruh yang diberikan oleh variabel likuiditas dan aktivitas terhadap financial distress adalah sebesar 41%. Sedangkan sisanya yaitu sebesar 59% adalah pengaruh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. This study aims to examine the effect of liquidity and activities on financial distress. The method used in this research is descriptive and verification method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study are subsector transportation listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2022 period. The sampling method in this study used purposive sampling method. From this method obtained 16 banks that meet the criteria as research samples. The data used is secondary data collected by documentation techniques. In analyzing the data, this study used multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing to determine the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable with a level of 5%. From the results of the tests carried out in this study, it is known that the independent variables of liquidity and activities affect the dependent variable of financial distress. While in the partial test, liquidity and activities has a significant negative effect on financial distress. The value of Adjusted R Square is 0,413, this means that the magnitude of the influence given by the variables of liquidity and activities that occur in financial distress 41%. While the remaining 59% is the influence of other variables not examined.
