Abstract

Pertanian berdasarkan data BPS adalah pekerjaan yang paling banyak diminati oleh penduduk Indonesia, namun pekerjaan petani adalah pekerjaan dengan penghasilan paling kecil di Indonesia. Salah satu penyebab kecilnya penghasilan petani adalah masalah rantai pasok yang panjang untuk sampai ke tangan konsumen, hal ini diperparah dengan adanya kesenjangan produksi beras Indonesia, pulau Jawa sendiri memproduksi setengah dari total produksi di Indonesia. Namun, pada kenyataannya rantai pasok yang panjang memiliki peran penting dalam distribusi hasil tani. Penelitian ini mencoba mengisi kesenjangan tersebut dengan mengusulkan solusi dalam bentuk pemangkasan rantai pasok produk pertanian. Konsep ini memungkinkan petani untuk menjual langsung hasil pertaniannya setelah melakukan proses penggilingan padi, sedangkan pedagang besar akan berfokus pada distribusi produk luar daerah, dan pedagang eceran memiliki peran untuk menjangkau pembeli di daerah secara lebih efisien. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah prototyping berdasarkan pendekatan pengembangan sistem dengan metode pengembangan System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah Subang, Jawa Barat, dengan melibatkan berbagai pemangku kepentingan dengan total 21 orang, termasuk petani, tengkulak, pedagang, pejabat publik, dan UX/UI spesialis. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pengembangan sistem yang berhasil, dan telah melalui tahap evaluasi blackbox testing yang menghasilkan sistem yang baik. Meskipun demikian, ada potensi untuk melakukan pengembangan lebih lanjut agar sistem dapat lebih efisien dalam mendukung rantai pasok produk pertanian yang lebih singkat dan berkelanjutan. ----- Based on BPS data, Agriculture is the most demand job by Indonesians. But this job has the lowest income in Indonesia. One of the reasons for the small income of farmers is the problem of a long supply chain to reaches consumers. This is exacerbated by the gap in Indonesian rice production, the Java island itself produces half of Indonesia's total production. However, in reality a long supply chain has an important role in the distribution of agricultural products. This research tries to fill the gap by proposing a solution in the form of cutting the supply chain of agricultural products. This concept allows farmers to sell their agricultural products directly after the rice milling process, while wholesalers will focus on outside product distribution, and retailers have a role to reach customers efficiently. This research use prototyping method based on a system development approach with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) development method. This research was conducted in the Subang, West Java, involving various stakeholders with a total of 21 people, including farmers, middlemen, traders, public officials, and UX/UI specialists. The results of this study are successful system development, and have gone through the blackbox testing evaluation stage which produces a good system. Nonetheless, there is a potential for further development to make the system more efficient in supporting shorter and more sustainable supply chains of agricultural products.
